The room was comfortable and had everything you could need. Set in a quiet area, so peaceful. Lovely garden area leading to the room. The bathroom was clean although the shower leaked a little next to the bathroom door but great water pressure and a lovely hot shower. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of food to choose from. It was a really wonderful stay.

Stunning views and we loved the outdoor bathtub. The place was very clean and well set up. We liked that the units are spaced out and provide a lot of privacy. Highly recommend.

Adrian and Charles were exceptional hosts, they both made sure we were comfortable and accommodated to all our needs. Only 3km's to Daylesford. Lovely ambience, high quality decor with olde world charm. Purezza filtered water was sensational. Only stayed one night, definitely planning on good back for at least 2 nights and experience Dudley's famous breakfast.

I enjoyed the stay, but winter time is difficult as everything is closed. Plus this area and Daylesford is experiencing a change to the worse I believe as it is becoming a weekend away for those with $$$$. Many stores were up for lease. Many homes looked tired and non attended and very very expensive even for a jar of raspberry jam or alpaca sox. Not many stores to rome around as you did 5 years ago. Restaurant limitations for choice. I dont want to be eating at hotel restaurants only but seems to be the trend there now. Couple of pubs of course, but no cute, warm cosy places to go to and feel an ambeince worthy of the area. What's going Hepburn and Daylseford, why are you looking old and tired? Galleries cater to the type of market that go for day trips there and think they are buying something unique, when in fact the options are tacky and non creative. There seems to be a massive slump going on.

Staff at the bathhouse were very helpful and friendly.

Staff at the bathhouse were very helpful and friendly. The facilities were clean and pleasant. The two pools were both at 36 degrees Celsius, one pool was still, the other had strong jets of water suitable to massage the whole body. A glass wall provided view of a green and beautiful hillside. Daybeds were available at poolside to rest on between soaking in the warm mineral water.

I loved staying in Hepburn Springs, there's so many things to do that are achievable just by walking around. I went for several long walks through the springs area and walked an 8 station indigenous trail that explained the history of the spot I was in. The cool climate rainforest I was walking in felt super ancient and special. It's a 45 minutes pleasant walk into Daylesford and I had the best pizza of my life at the Daylesford Hotel for lunch on one of the days of my stay. Also worth doing is the Sanctuary package at Hepburn Springs Spa - the hot spa, cold plunge, mineral pool, hamman and dry sauna were all indulged in with delight. I'll be coming again as soon as I can.

Whilst we had a good stay we were very disappoined with our room. When booking a garden room, we expected be able to see the garden, this was not the case. The room, whilst on the edge of the garden faced the car park and was shielded by a 'plastic wall' so there was no view at all. It was dark, minimal natural light, so w had to have he lights on. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff

Hepburn Springs sits on the boarder of Daylesford (spa country). If active walkers/hikers this location is paradise. Enough amenities without it feeling "tourist". The people are what makes the stay so special. Locals are the kindest and content people I have ever met.

Best part to us was visiting the delicious Chocolate factory 500 meters up the road from our stay at The Fat Pony Lodge. Young man who served us was so Pleasant, helpful and enthusiastic and made the whole experience a joy. Third time visiting But we are never disappointed or fail to leave very happy with our purchases .

Everything about our experience was wonderful. The hotel has a beautiful ambience and high end decor. Our room was lovely, very clean, and loved the idea of the mini fridge and tea and coffee facilities inside the wardrobe. Comfortable bed and sheets were so soft. Breakfast at The Virgin Kitchen was beautiful and absolutely love the decor in the restaurant. The grounds were beautiful and the pool and spa amazing. Had the most wonderful stay.

The cottage was beautifully presented. Very spacious with plenty of comfortable seating. The beds were comfortable with lovely linen on them. Very quiet. Not far to anywhere in the area - hot springs, supermarket, cafes and restaurants.
