The unique shape of the building translates to unique, wedge shaped rooms with a very cool bathroom set up. Great views! Loved the chiming of the big clock tower outside. Very close to the Civic Theatre, literally out the front door across the courtyard and you’re there.

Positives :Accepts pets Choice of eateries in close proximity . Negatives: surrounding area not cleanest, but nothing accommodation can do regarding that. Depending on which room you are allocated parking is either free or $25 charge, which is not obvious at time of booking. Again depending on room allocation, room is either modern and minimal or very dated and in need of attention. Cleanliness of both not up to what you would want it to be and cockroaches appear to be an issue across both areas. This was a one night stop over which was more than enough. Had another option been available for my return journey I would have taken it.

No sms for door code like promised.

No sms for door code like promised. I had to chase the code by phoning & the code didn’t work. A second phone call to receive another code & then no sms again like promised to save the code in my phone. No fly screens on the bedroom, bathroom & toilet windows upstairs so no windows could be open for fresh air. We couldn’t make a coffee or tea as the fridge only had 2 milk & 3 of us stayed there. The garage door didn’t work so we had to fix this ourselves by pulling on the chord & pressing the button so the chain would connect to the cord etc. Beds were comfortable.

A lovely place, quite modern even though it needed a few...

A lovely place, quite modern even though it needed a few minor repairs, but very comfortable. Quiet and as there were road works getting done on the doorstep, you could not hear any noise. Great that it was Pet friendly as so many people travel with pets and rooms were catered well. Facilities were well maintained and very clean. Driveway kept clean and clear making getting into parking bays easy. Loved our stay and would definitely stay there again

It was dog-friendly but then we had an upstairs apartment up steep tiled stairs! Our dogs are not good going down stairs! Good price, location, shops nearby and free parking near a walking track to a nice park but only bare essentials in our room. Missing bedside table lamps, no door and floor mats, no bedside mats, just hard tiles, no clothes hooks or towel rails. It was hard to dry towels and no where to put clothes to take a shower. We sorely missed these extra things due to the wet weather making it difficult to keep our room clean and tidy.

As an overnight transit stop it was okay.

As an overnight transit stop it was okay. Late in and early out. However this accomodation is at a licensed pub and there were some not so desirable people hanging around the carpark and on the street

The place was new, near to Jesmond Central which has a lot...

The place was new, near to Jesmond Central which has a lot of restaurant, 3 groceries and very near to the Uni. It has very fast free wifi. Very secured place, passcode for main door, lift and the room. I will definitely come back and highly recommended place. Only needs to update their info on booking.com, it's advertised as no wifi included. Thanks.

That I learnt alot about people in general & how trying to help someone can just be like no good deed goes unpunished or paid for. & how much some establishments that have a monopoly on the motel/hotel market think they dont have to keep their standards in customer service at a high standard by being rude & showing their incompetence & lack of people skills in over managing some situations & blatantly mishandling others.

Although the hotel appears to be on the older side, our room was clean, and it was mostly used for us to just sleep at night as we had attended to our family holiday venue nearby most of the time we were there. Our room had aircon and the simple necessities needed for your short stay and very affordable.

Jesmond is a good location for most of our Newcastle stays. The property was easy to get to and a short walk to the food court at the shopping centre nearby. Plenty of space inside the apartment. Codes were texted while we travelled so we could let ourselves straight in.
