A peaceful location well located with easy, scenic drives to nearby towns and the coast. Discover Cape Liptrap lighthouse and historic Walkerville and its lime kiln ruins, located on an idyllic cove ideal for a swim. Have lunch in Kilkundra overlooking the ocean. Visit Wonthaggi's coal mine and Korumburra's Coal Creek. Discover the cute hall at Jeetho and do a round trip via Bena. Loch is located along the old Gippsland rail trail, now a cycling/walking/horse riding trail from Nyora to Leongatha. Loch's specialty shops are all easy walking distance as is the suspension bridge to the commemorative memorial park, complete with interpretative signs. Best local coffee is at Luscious in Korumburra's main street. Pizza from Loch Wine Bar is a must!
