The cottage was luxuriously appointed, including quality toiletries, soft snuggly dressing gowns and slippers. The decor was modern, light and airy. The bed was super comfortable. It was immaculately clean. The location is perfect, a 2 minute stroll to the shops and galleries.

The manor exceeded our expectations. I love the cleanliness, the size of the room, comfortable bed, the spa bath in the room, breakfast, staff, everything in our stay basically. Thanks to the complimentary wine and pancake.

Fantastic big bath. The plush dressing gowns and slippers were a lovely touch. Cute gardens. The kids loved the birds that visited. Super close to a small skate ramp that the kids loved. The fire was stocked ready to go and plenty of wood.

What Guests Said About Marysville:

Scored out of 10, guest rating 6.0

I liked the crisp air and birds but that's where it ends.

I liked the crisp air and birds but that's where it ends. The locals are not friendly and seem almost angry you are there especially the man at the local "pub" which is not a pub. Peppers is a huge let down, in desperate need of a facelift as it is old and tired looking. The room was small, tv is old, there is no netflix etc and casting was a nightmare that just did not work. The room is old looking, bathroom had chipped tiles and the bathroom door had water damage from the bottom which had swollen. Walls so thin which made it difficult to sleep with children all around and above us waking up at the crack of dawn running and screaming. Several attempts to advise reception staff that we had paid the deposit for the massage at their facility even producing the C/C receipt and they still charged it to my account; they could not reverse it while there. They did manage to get it refunded. Not a good experience. The town itself is small and cute but not much to do if that is what you are after. The few shops are expensive, and you just end up in a coffee shop or the park. Not worth the effort or money unless you just want to sit or walk.

Marysville is such a lovely Victorian town.

Marysville is such a lovely Victorian town. Due to the terrible bush fires a few years ago most of the town is newly build. Such a lovely spot to spend weekend for a family. Plenty of parks, forest walks, falls and of course lake mountain.

Marysville is a beautiful little mountain country township - at the base of Lake Mountain. The scenery on the drive and in town is beautiful and well worth the time it takes to get there - only 90 minutes from Melbourne. The pub, The Duck Inn, had great meals, cold beer and a fire burning. Perfect.

Such an enchanting township nestled amongst magical forest landscape. Kerami manor and spa was an excellent find. Loved every minute of our superlative stay. Had dinner one night at duck inn pub and following night dined at black spur inn narbethong. Nature walks, village cafes and shops, great coffee and Stevenson Falls is amazing. We love marysville. We are sure to return and will highly recommend to everyone.

great spot handy to bush walks, enjoyed both the easy walk to the Stevenson Falls and the walk to the Keppel lookout, along with the challenging climb to the sugarloaf peak. bakery had great selection of food for breakfast and for packed lunch. The Mercantile bar had great pizza and staff was friendly and welcoming, a great place to sit and relax at the end of the day

It is a beautiful place, very small, so it is perfect for a short peaceful vacation. The only thing I have to mention is that the food in general (appart from Peppers hotel) is not very good, and expensive.

The Spring cottage could not have been more perfect. I mean: location, style, comfort, cleanliness, facilities, THE VIEWS. The cottage was stunning and the entire property was beautiful. This will now be our go-to place to stay in Marysville. As regular visitors to the mountains, I look forward to our summertime weekend away and to see the property's gardens in full bloom. You must stay at Marysville Garden Cottages.

Location, cleanliness. And Karen front of house manager was amazing! She shared history with us of the town and building and was so lovely to chat to. She worked beyond her shift just to answer all our questions. I hope the management promote her to hotel manager as she certainly has the skills. The manager of the hotel was very unfriendly!
