During my past business travel experience with 16years stayed more than 100 hotels, including 5star hotels. This hotel is my TOP3 now! It’s much over my expectations. It satisfied lots of my picky points, the most impressive is super clean!! Even the ceiling/wall/title, no dirty spot at all! I was really impressive. Meanwhile, the owner Mrs. Pam is super nice and kind, she runs her hotel very organized. Lots of details satisfied me a lot! I definitely will come back again next year when I traveled to business site again!

Great accommodation for a quick stay in Merriwa. Rooms were clean and tidy and decent bathroom and good shower. Plenty of parking on site. Beds were comfortable and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's a little bit of a walk into the main bit of town, maybe 1.0km but not a showstopper. Would stay again.

This is a town with an inflated opinion of itself, with the exception of the bakery there is little on offer, we ate at the Royal Hotel which looks sensational from the outside, but is a huge disappointment on the inside, there is no country charm or atmosphere, not even a wood fire, the food is basic at best, we had a very expensive rump steak that was without doubt the worst I have ever had considering it cost $80 for two, not to mention my granddaughters child's meal that rounded the bill out to $100, which is outrageous for a pub feed.

It's a small town but very friendly.

It's a small town but very friendly. Good bakery and new pizza place. Good place to take a break e.g on the way from Mudgee to Scone or Tamworth. The Community Centre sells jams, pickles and handicrafts and has clean rest rooms.

Ummm, it's a rural town so there's not a lot going on?

Ummm, it's a rural town so there's not a lot going on? The canola fields in bloom were INSANELY beautiful though. Like - make you cry at the sight of them beautiful. No internet reception anywhere but wherever you stay so navigating to find stuff (we were tryna get to Goulburn national Park trail but just found bush) so that was also rough. But this is coming from a city girl so I'm speaking from a place of privilege. It was a nice enough little town, just requires a bit of pre planning on finding food and such as there's very very little options and the IGA shuts at 2pm on Sundays.
