I liked the location as it was a short walk to the main strip (so slightly quieter) and closer to the main swimming beach.

We were only in Queenscliff a short time but have visited several times before. Enjoy the architecture of the area, the Blues Train and the cafes. Occasionally come across on the ferry to meet friends for a meal at the dock area, which is very pleasant.

Nice cafes and a couple of interesting shops. Easy to walk around. There are a few interesting things to do eg Maritime Museum, guided walk, historic fort plus nearby places to visit eg Pt Lonsdale (beach, lighthouse, cafes).

Queenscliff is one of my favourite places in Victoria.

Queenscliff is one of my favourite places in Victoria. Step back in time to an old style town on the banks of the bay. On a sunny day it is glorious. Look at the old buildings, eat at one of the amazing cafes (we had crepes that were yummy), go onto the beach, so much to do and explore.

It's a great little coastal town plenty to see and do, full of history you have the great walking tracks, the historical fort, the ferry boat to take you across the water to Sorrento. Great little place to spend time at.

Great location for a weekend or a longer stay.

Great location for a weekend or a longer stay. It has the beach, ferry crossing which we did, and the history. Enjoyed the museum with very lovely staff and always enjoy the book shop and hunt for vintage items in the shopping area. Lots of eating choices and all in a compact area.

I like old hotels so am a bit biased in that sense.

I like old hotels so am a bit biased in that sense. The Vue Grand was a nice hotel from a past age. The balcony was fairly private so you could sit outside and enjoy the atmosphere plus look over at the street to see what was going on.
