AustraliaAlison was a great host and the studio was spacious and very comfortable. A comfortable bed and a warm shower is often enough. The breakfast of fresh cooked bread, fruit and yoghurt was amazing. Cooking facilities were a bonus. Then I found the outdoor area and marked walks in the bushland with views over the farm to the Alpacas and Llamas just added to everything else.
A peaceful, quiet place for a restful stay. I would highly recommend Chandelle to anyone who wants to stay "out of town" and only 3 mins away from shops and cafes.

Rooms were very clean and very spacious and comfortable.
Rooms were very clean and very spacious and comfortable. Parking was close. Our room overlooked the water. The hotel does have a restaurant. It is a little drive to other places to eat so keep this in mind as travelling around at night on the roads can be a little unsafe with the wild life.
The staff were very friendly answering all our questions.

It is about 20 minutes or so ?
It is about 20 minutes or so ? out of Launceston city so if you don't need to be in the CBD then I would certainly recommend Rosevears. The rooms are lovely, it is quiet & has good views of the Tamar river. King size bed was very comfortable. Each pod has it's own balcony. The menu in the restaurant is extensive & the meals we had were huge. Three pieces of fish & my pork ribs hung over the sides of the plate, defintely good value & tasty too.

A nice, clean, spacious & tidy place.
A nice, clean, spacious & tidy place. Attractive & comfortable settings; owner should be a designer, Good communication with host Pete. My wife & I will definitely stay in this place again in the future. I would highly recommend this place if one visits Rosevears or north Launceston.

The actual cleanliness and presentation was not the usual Rosevears I have always enjoyed. Charge doesn't reflect the cleanliness, the roughly laundered towels and minimal tea bags supplied. Fridge needed defrosting.

You definitely need a car to get anywhere.
You definitely need a car to get anywhere. No bus stop until the next town down. Amazingly fresh air - if you usually live in Sydney, you'll feel the difference for sure. Beautiful to drive around.

It was convenient to Launceston without being too close. Relaxed atmosphere and stunning scenery and views. Close proximity to many wineries and cellar doors. Shopping centre a few minutes away for supplies and a good selection of restaurants nearby as well

Lovely location overlooking the Tamar River. There was a small deck to sit out and the sunrise and sunsets were lovely. The apartment was well appointed but the kitchen was quite compact (where the rest of the apartment was roomy) and lacked a stove so cooking was limited. Not to worry as there is a Hotel nearby. There's a rec at the bottom of the hill for exercise!

The rooms are beautiful. All have a view of the Tamar River and its very quiet. The property has a great hotel and the meals are great. Natalie who checked us in was very welcoming, efficient and friendly.
