Lovely, very well equipped cottage in a private setting in beautiful Ross. It had lots of thoughtful touches and everything was covered (I could not think of a single thing that was missing!). A very well run property and communication with the owner was excellent. Just wished we had factored in more than one night in our trip schedule.

Great location near the historic towns of Ross and Campbell. Interior of the farmhouse was just lovely. I particularly love the kitchen and dining area. It is so cosy and well thought out. Kitchen was equipped with every utensil and cutlery; fridge was also stocked with some welcomed essentials like bread, milk and water. The bedrooms were also a dream. The duvets and pillows were plush and comfortable. I had such great sleep here.

Great location, near where I was working. Well insulated cool during the hot day, warm during the cool nights. Love the garden with a lot of fruit trees and birds. Big bathroom with spa was lovely to relax in. Very cosy stay in a unique heritage spot.

The church house is unique and feels majestic. Clean, comfortable, enjoyable, and spacious inside. Just seconds away to groceries for our kitchen experience. For quick eats, cafes are just on the other side of the road.

We loved the peaceful but historic town of Ross.

We loved the peaceful but historic town of Ross. Lots to see and do during the day. At night we walked down to the bridge for sunset. We were often the only ones on the main street at night, but felt perfectly safe. The locals were really friendly and it has great coffee shops.

Ross is such a pretty town.

Ross is such a pretty town. When I drove in the line of trees were lovely and gardens very picturesque. There is a lot of pride in this heritage town. I felt welcomed when I visited various shops I felt it would be nice to live there. At the time of my visit the hotel was under renovation which is the only venue for dinner so a food truck was accessible if needed. Great idea for visitors.

Part of a five-night road trip from Launceston and back in the North East. Ross was our favourite by far. Take your time, history at your fingertips. Early spring was quieter, but they are obviously gearing up for the coming months.

The cottage was very welcoming.

The cottage was very welcoming. It was comfortably furnished and it was great to have the heater going on our arrival. The central location was close to the town but far enough away for country style privacy.

Ross is really beautiful place that's friendly, safe and relaxing to be in. Enough shops and places to see and entertain. It was my second visit. Next day I went to Evandale and realised how more relaxing Ross is. Evandale's main road has big trucks and cars rushing through, the locals have large dogs, two were loose so I didn't feel comfortable walking in the street to see the lovely homes. Some of the homes in Evandale are more grand but Ross is more historic. Dining is much better in Ross than Evandale. The food in Ross is fresh and made by professionals. In Evandale my quiche was microwaved rock hard and eleclair had mock cream as was at least a day old, it was Monday, but if I pay top price for food I expect it fresh.

I was sad (but can understand why) that the pub was closed on a Monday/Tuesday as we would have loved the experience. We loved exploring the wool Museum and seeing more of the history of Ross, the Convict bakery, the bridge and the Female factory history. The whole town is a delight to walk around

We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very quirky. If the weather had been better we might have tried the outdoor bath - it looked very inviting. The cottage was well equipped, warm and cosy. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchenette was well equipped. Enjoyed the verandah - peaceful. Within walking distance of Ross' main street - enjoyed a wander at sunset. Henry, the dog made our visit even more special. Everything was catered for, even dressing gowns and slippers!

The rooms were clean, tidy and super comfy beds! The little kitchenette had everything you need and walking distance the all that is for offer in Ross. Will drfinitely stay longer next time!
