I really enjoyed my stay at the Marina Resort. The location is excellent, with beautiful views and easy access to the marina and surrounding areas. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made the stay very relaxing. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made a big difference. The overall atmosphere of the resort was calm and enjoyable, and I appreciated how peaceful it felt throughout my stay. I would happily stay here again and would recommend the Marina Resort to others looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway.

Loved that we could make some simple meals using the BBQ. And could sit outside watching the sunset having afternoon drinks on the comfy outdoor furniture. Designated parking close by. Quiet location. Wasn’t disrupted by noise of any other guests.

Lots to see and do.

Lots to see and do. Lovely beaches all around, within short distances. Favourites: soldiers point, nelson bay, fingal bay. Ferry from Nelson bay to Tea gardens. One hour there, one hour back. Old ferry, $42 pp. Half way " open sea", half way up Myall river to tea gardens. Small village, few quaint restaurants. Saw a few dolphins next to the boat under swinging bridge sailing into T gardens. Went to Mumms on Myall. Lovely grilled fish and chips. Burramundi fish very good. Went for Tomaree summit walk. 90 minutes there and back. Quite a steep climb but definitely worth for the view. (68 and made the walk with a few rests in between) not recommended if you have bad knees. Soldiers point for sunset. Salamander Bay relatively small but has enough attractions to keep you busy for a few days, or longer , if you want to just relax on any of their many lovely beaches. Enough shops, restaurants. One of our favourite stops on our 5 week tour of Australia

It was great for a family reunion and get-together, with facilities to suit every member of the family. I liked that it is located outside the busy tourist areas and offered some respite from other local attractions during the busy holiday period.

We had a lovely and relaxing stay at this beautiful resort. The swimming pool is absolutely stunning — designed like a winding river that flows gracefully around the property, creating a peaceful and unique atmosphere. Unfortunately, our apartment was on the wrong side of the “river pool,” where there were no steps or ladders to get out easily. Since the pool wall is about 1.3 meters high, it was quite a challenge for us — elderly people , jumping out was more than difficult!

Salamander Bay is beautiful, there are so many activities to do and you are close to the beach, shops and great places to eat. I recommend going on a camel ride, horse riding, quad bike riding, take the whole family to toboggan Hill and roller blade, take the family on the toboggan, play mini golf, hit the beaches, enjoy a cup of coffee, tea, juice, pizza, fish n chips what ever you like eating and drinking it will definitely hit the spot, at the diggers club, berubi Beach tavern, pop into the local stores and grab a ice cream, go for a drive to enjoy the scenery, and learn about the history. Have fun , enjoy the quiet.
