Location was better than expected. Some of the units in this building (but not this one) are managed by the Ramada, so they provide walk-through access via a parking lot that leads to the Ramada - so, quick/easy walk to the main street and no need to walk around the block.

Whale watching by the seashore at sunset time is a great experience. We had a lunch picnic by the shore and so happy that there’s a lot of tables. We also ate at Zenith cafe and their pizza is so delicious. Their coffeebis the best.

We liked our villa, very comfortable, the camp kitchen was the best we have seen. The grounds and amenities were great, reception staff very friendly. We did not find anything to complain about. We had some great meals close to the holiday park. Easy walking to the shops in the Main Street .

The location is perfect, across the road from the beach,...

The location is perfect, across the road from the beach, walk to the pub and restaurants. Plus all the resort facilities are great. The shower over the bath in most of the rooms is very high to get in and out of, with no handle to hold on to!

we were lucky we had the Food and Wine Festival, the Markets the Beach. We went to Tea Gardens for lunch via the catamaran. We dined at the Country Club 5/10. Thai Restaurant 10/10 and eat in Nelson Bay shopping town

Shoal Bay is a lovely location to visit, lots of great walks...

Shoal Bay is a lovely location to visit, lots of great walks, beautiful scenery and lovely safe beaches. There are cafes and restaurants along the foreshores. It is a peaceful part of the world although it does get busy on the weekends.

Overall shoal bay is a very relaxing place to stay, like most popular destinations it’s wise to book into into restaurants at popular times like summer I haven’t been up that way for a break for awhile and the fact that you have to pay to park in a lot of places when some of the streets are horrendous to drive on just doesn’t seem right, they want tourists to go to these destinations but aren’t giving them any incentives to do so

I fell in love with Shoal Bay. The location and our accommodation at Sea Change was fantastic. We had plenty of room for all of us. Lovely bedrooms and bathrooms and good sized kitchen. A quick walk down to the bay/shops made everything so easy. The scenery and vibe is sensational. The Country Club was so amazing with great staff. We had brekky, lunch and dinner there a number of times. Cute little shops as well. Nelson Bay and the surrounding location 10/10.

Ramada Resort by Wyndham Shoal Bay's location is perfect! Looking out of my window I had an amazing view of the coastline! The hotel is situated very close to shops and restaurants and is convenient for walking around the headland. The rooms themselves are very spacious and cleverly designed! It's a lovely place to stay for sure!

Great location right in the town center of Shoal Bay opposite the beach within easy walking distance to the restaurants and also Tomaree National Park. Overall pretty well equipped kitchen and nicely renovated.
