Everything. The place, the room, the host, the garden, and the lovely animals that even come to play with people. I have been living in Australia for almost three years now, and this place is honestly one of the best places in my memory and in my life. Everything felt perfect. At night, the stars were so clear, and the full moon slowly came up from the ground. It was quiet and peaceful. In the morning, I could still see the full moon in front of us while the sun was rising on the other side. It felt magical. Spending time here with the people I love the most is something I can’t really explain with words.

Adrian and Charles were exceptional hosts, they both made sure we were comfortable and accommodated to all our needs. Only 3km's to Daylesford. Lovely ambience, high quality decor with olde world charm. Purezza filtered water was sensational. Only stayed one night, definitely planning on good back for at least 2 nights and experience Dudley's famous breakfast.

Great in-between for visiting the wineries in Macedon and also Daylesford. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle for it to feel calm while also not too far away (20-30 minute drives) from local attractions and spots.

Smeaton mainly consists of farms and there is no actual township with shops or places to eat. You have to go to Creswick, Kingston or Clunes for shopping. It is a place to rest, relax and feel far from city life.

We absolutely loved the scenery, animals, serenity and the fishing. The food in the restaurant was Devine also. The only negative for us was the fact that the breakfast wasn’t included in the price and the fact that there was lots of cob webs in our cabin.

Exceptional accomodation in a farm. Had a chance to feed the animals, thanks to Allan for a wonderful experience. Smeaton hotel is very close for sumptuous dinner. Will surely be back again!
