I chose this motel because of its reviews and location and...

I chose this motel because of its reviews and location and it did not disappoint. The room was spacious, renovated not so long ago and air conditioned. The bed comfortable. Being off the highway meant it was quiet. We also had an excellent meal at the pub next door which was better than the usual pub fair.

Quiet peaceful country town, there are walking tracks near...

Quiet peaceful country town, there are walking tracks near by, however I didn't have enough time to explore those. Perfect overnight stay travelling on Hume Hwy between Melbourne and Canberra or Sydney and Melbourne.

Country town at the foothills of the Woomargama National...

Country town at the foothills of the Woomargama National Park. Quiet town with a lovely vibe and s short distance off the Hume Highway. Perfect for a stop over. A short 10 min. drive to the Wambariga Yambla View Lookout. 100m walk out on a raised walkway. Also wheelchair accessible with a picnic table and toilets. Beautiful view. There are a few walking trails in the area too.

I have been staying here for a number of years.

I have been staying here for a number of years. The property has improved over time, and its just a really nice place to stay for me as the mid-way point on my way going to Sydney or from Melbourne. The food is really good. The atmosphere is nice, and I love taking a walk around the neighbourhood.

I booked the Woomargama Motel for an overnight stay whilst travelling interstate. I didn't really go anywhere else, just stayed at the motel, but from what I did see when driving in, it looked like a lovely little country town. And the locals at the hotel were very friendly.

Located a little of the main road, certainly worth the short drive. Spotless. Amazing staff. Nice pool to cool off in. Pool towels supplied. Unfortunately, the TV remote and a piece of kitchen equipment had failed on the day I checked in, so the full menu was not available, however this did not distract from my stay. I would recommend to anyone looking to book.

There was no breakfast offered. The rooms were large, comfortable and quiet. The adjoining hotel was a good place to eat dinner and have a drink or two. The pool was appreciated by those in our group who used it.
