Where we stayed was quiet and away from the town ,which we liked. It was only 6 mins away from the ferry to Keppel island and had a great restaurant at the marina too. The town had lots to choose from re food and shops. Also the beach front it wonderful especially for kids. People were friendly.

Yeppoon is a small but growing beachside community.

Yeppoon is a small but growing beachside community. Good selection of restaurants and bars. The beach and the nearby man made lagoon swimming area are fantastic. Rosslyn Bay is just down the road where the ferry can be taken to Great Keppel Island. Great place to stay.

Complained to booking.com because the pool was dirty and...

Complained to booking.com because the pool was dirty and disgusting and could not be used. I should of been told this before paying $300 for one night. The TV had a second screen over the picture so I could not watch it. Booking.com contacted the owners for a partial refund and they refused to budge. Unacceptable. Ripped off! Booking.com gave me $37.50 credit. Big deal.

Great walkable town along with the parade/esplanade along the beach. Many great places for meals and shopping and a wonderful beachfront feel. Cooberrie Wildlife Santuary close by (Koala hold) and just a laid back beach town vibe.

There are walks from the famous Keppel Bay marina south of Yeppoon to Rosslyn Bay and dramatic landscapes, quarry and mountain as well as tours to the bay and reef. Yeppoon has a good selection of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants plus beachside walk and parks excellent for children. There is the tourist visitor centre just out of Yeppoon where there is a World Class marine and shell life museum - a must see for the whole family. Small coastal town feel with pretty much everything you would need.

Yepoon is a lovely coastal town.

Yepoon is a lovely coastal town. It is a great place to stop and unwind. Keppel Bay Sails Club has great food. The staff are fantastic and friendly. There are many things to do if you take the time to wander around and discover. Nearby Emu Park is beautiful. The war memorial is a must to visit as is the corner Cafe. This part of the coast is always a great stopping point.

We had a short stay at Ocean Park Retreat and we were absolutely blown away with how beautifully clean, comfortable and welcoming this place was. It was equipped with every need for a comfortable stay, had entertainment for the kids right down to the welcoming snacks and drinks. So well thought out and homely. We will be recommending this stay to all our friends and family travelling to Yeppoon and hope to return for a longer stay next time.

Comfortable apartment, good facilities, space for a family or 4 adults. Excellent place for those going to Great Keppel island since ferry is only 600 m away. Restaurant is there, but closest supermarket is in Yeppoon. Parking is 50-100 m away, not in front of apartment.
