I arrived with my partner for his birthday and we both had a great stay there. The staff was amazing and very friendly, they even gave my partner a birthday card with the best wishes from them all and put a candle in his desert. We really enjoyed staying in one of their pods- floor heating was a nice surprise to have in the wintery days. The full Scottish breakfast was very tasty and so was their dinner. We tasted their rum and had tasty beer in their cute small bar. The location is great! So many things to see and enjoy around. I highly recommend the place and wish I can visit them again in the near future.

The stay was nice. Manager Praba was friendly and upgraded us to a deluxe suite. The room had a nice view of the mountains and the lake. One of the best views of the lake. Rooms are very spacious and clean. The room had a very nice scent, and it was very calming. The hotel also had a restaurant, couldn't try but the menu had a lot of options and was comparatively very well priced. The staff was nice and we loved the stay. Will come back if we visit Fort William again in the future.

The owners were very helpful. If you go to Scotland for a great experience with nature and scenery, this place will set you up for it. Beautiful property and the area itself is great for wildlife and dramatic scenery. The owners were very helpful with suggestions and the home is warm and welcoming.

Loved the decorations, the wood stove, and the comfortable beds! The communications were great. We appreciated the thoughtful treats upon arrival! Hospitality was excellent. The kitchen was a bit narrow but perfectly functional. Some cookware needed a thorough cleaning. I mentioned it to the host, who accepted responsibilities and was very graceful. The building is traditional and beautiful. We only stayed one night in December. Would go back and would recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful place. Eateries within short drive.

Beautiful place. Eateries within short drive. Glencoe Visitor Centre was worth a visit. Ballachulish may be small but it was nice and pretty for a wander around with lovely shop and cafe. You would need some sort of transport to get here and get about whether that be car, bicycle, motorbike or motor home. Nice wee beach not far from Durar with clear water. A spectacular part of the world!

The property is on the edge of a lovely wood which is ideal...

The property is on the edge of a lovely wood which is ideal for walks but also close to the loch and the residential areas of ballchuillish and glencoe. It’s the most peaceful place we have ever stayed. Would highly recommend this as a good base to explore surrounding areas.
