Love the atmosphere. Rooms were clean and the team was helpful. Dinner was very nice (it was in a different room because our dog was not allowed in the restaurant but it was well arranged). Hotel is located just next to the beach so a great area for a walk. Everything was great.

This was a good place to stay, excellent room with good bed and so clean. Breakfast was good on the Friday thanks to the lady that served me and even better when it was the buffet breakfast on the following morning. Heinz Tomato sauce and HP sauce bottles on every table - that says a lot!

The staff greeted me with a smile and explained all amenities. The room was nice with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good. The location was perfect for a good rest after a long drive and getting off the LeShuttle.

Very stylish hotel directly opposite the Harbour Arm in Folkestone. I was dining at RockSalt so it was a perfect location. Didn't book breakfast so can't comment. Design gorgeous. Bed lovely. Nice touches all round.

We enjoyed an overnight stay in this hotel. Staff were excellent, as was dinner in the restaurant. the room was fine, a little small, but i think we booked a standard room. there was air con which worked well.

Super tradition English hotel, nicely furnished and welcoming. Very clean with well presented cosy rooms. Staff were very helpful and kind, they provided us with a ground level room as requested due to my wife’s mobility issues. The receptionist offered to help bring our luggage in, brilliant.

Alkham is a quiet little village with only the pub, church...

Alkham is a quiet little village with only the pub, church and park. Perfect to get away when you need A break. The food is to die for! The drinks options are amazing and the staff now how to look after you. Dover and Folkestone are between 10-15 minutes away and easy access to everything. Hidden Jem!

A very pretty Church - a very busy main road with very fast traffic & it was late in the day so we didn’t venture very far! A few walks were visible from the road but walking bouts required on the day of our visit.

We stayed in the Sir Thomas Berridge room. Top floor at the back of the hotel away from the road. Lovely and quiet room, large and bright. The shower was a little tricky as it was over a large freestanding, deep, roll top bath, with the controls a bit away. Other than that it was great. Huge comfy bed and good air conditioning if you need it. Staff were fabulous and the food was superb. Breakfast was so delicious in the morning. Definitely would recommend this place if you want to feel treated.

The Alkham Valley location was ideal for a get-away-from-it-all weekend. Walks from the pub and at nearby Kearsney were a real treat. The MoG staff couldn't have been more obliging and the food - lunch, evening meal and breakfast - was delicious and well presented.

Stayed here many times and the pub,hotel never fails to provide a wonderful base for a short stay. Rooms are magnificent and location lovely. Food is superb and staff so friendly and helpful. Already booked our next stay.

The hotel was perfect for what we needed, which was a wedding nearby, staff were very helpful and the hotel was fantastic,great room and a superb breakfast, really recommend The Marquis of Grandby.
