Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Hadn't expected a restaurant onsite, that was a huge bonus, as it meant we didn't need to go and look for a place to have dinner after our long drive, we could simply stay put. In the rooms, the beds were very comfortable, the shower powerful, and I appreciated being able to make tea and coffee in the room. Everything was very clean. Didn't use the gym, but saw the sign that there was one - will bring my kit the next time I am here.

It is a great stopover travelling back from a holiday. The facilities as a Spa is excellent along with the evening meal. However, breakfast, full English and cold selection was well below average in comparison to the evening meal.

I stopped here to take a break on my journey to Scotland and loved it. The hotel manager recommended a walk by the canal, though ended up walking the Salt Line with a visiting dog walker. I visited Little Moreton Hall for lunch and then had a walk round it. An amazing look into the Tudor times. This was a totally unplanned stop and I definitely intend to visit again. I’d like to explore a bit more.

This was just an overnight stop for us to break our journey. The hotel is excellent with exceptional staff. The service in the restaurant is top notch. We cannot comment on the Spa facilities as we did not use them but what we saw of the facilities made us wish we were staying longer so perhaps we will return at sometime in the future. However we did make time to visit the nearby Little Moreton Hall which did not disappoint.

a beautiful friendly village, with bespoke shops and lovely bars.. something for everyone.easy to get to from neighbouring towns and to the M6, both J15 and J16. We stayed at the Manor House hotel, 5 minute drive ( plenty of parking) or 20 minute walk away.

Reasonably close to Alton Towers, and also my relatives live there—also some excellent dog-walking countryside, canals and rivers locally. I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Bleeding Wolf pub in Scholar Green, which accommodated our multi-age, different needs family and dog. They even had a dog menu!

A big room and bed for just me.

A big room and bed for just me. I had a disabled room (I hadn't asked for this but it was convenient and close to reception. The walk in shower did not drain away so the floor was always covered in water. I had a glass or wine which was expensive. Breakfast was very good and nicely served, it was upstairs and I wondered how people in a wheelchair would manage but perhaps there was a lift to the restaurant.

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment, totalling 3 nights while we visited family in Alsager. Communication went smoothly and the apartment had everything we needed. It was a very comfortable stay and we especially enjoyed the shower and how spacious the bathroom was. Plus, the apartment is very conveniently located for reaching the centre of Alsager. I am sure we will be back soon!

Convenient and affordable cosy hotel for our 1 night stay while visiting friends in the area. Courtesy tray with thoughtful biscuits was a welcome treat after a long drive. The breakfast was excellent. We were seated at a table that had a lovely view of the well-kept garden.
