The rooms were very large and the beds so comfortable. They had fans, mini fridge, and even robes in the bathroom. Everything was so nice and clean! The breakfast was large and they cooked to order too! The dinner was probably the best we had on our trip and the cost was so much cheaper than other places we went. They have the cutest bar with the friendliest bar tender that made us feel so at home. We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was very lovely and clean. Staff was so polite, friendly and professional. The restaurant had amazing views of the sea, it was an absolute joy to eat in that space. The food was great, especially the taste of Hickory menu.

Unique, gorgeous decor, and fantastic staff. Not just another cookie cutter hotel. We wished we had booked a longer stay as we never had a chance to soak in the claw foot tub. Jim is a wonderful and interesting host and the room was gorgeous. Breakfast was made to order and very generous in portions. We took a walk from the beach to the fairy pools in the morning and had a great day.

It’s a really pretty village, right beside the sea with spectacular views across the bay. Several good small shops including a lovely, helpful pharmacy and a great pub! Lovely safe, level walkway beside the shore, all the way to Fort George.

Ardersier is nice for a quiet break ,nice sea walks and very quiet if that is what you are looking for .You can walk around the village quiet easily and is near the airport and has a local bus to go into Inverness. If you want shops and more restaurants and nightlife it is not a place to go it is great for peace and quiet

We loved Ardersier.

We loved Ardersier. It is so quaint only 5 minutes from the Inverness Airport on the North Sea. The people are delightful. You can go to a Pub and have a delightful dinner in a quiet place without making reservations (at least in May 2023). We would love to base out of here and figure out the bus system to and from Inverness in the future.

did not find out how good the busses was until our last days due to it was Easter week / weekend all day bus ticket was around £8 ( 1/4/23 price ) however if you have a uk bus pass its free

It is a very pretty village with a lovely long promenade- type walkway round a bay and fab views. It is very friendly and helpful and only a stone’s throw from Inverness airport. The Star Inn is a really nice place to eat- their breakfasts and evening meals were really good. Sometimes my daughter and her 18 month old baby were with us and staff were cheerful, helpful and accommodating.

The service we received when we arrived was poor and...

The service we received when we arrived was poor and unwelcome. We were told me couldn't eat until 7.30, there were 6 tables and 12 guests. When we started our meal we were the only ones eating. Had to then wait an hour for a pizza. Receptionist, a young lad tried to help with our questions but kept disappearing not his fault. We had a 11.30 flight but was told we couldn't have breakfast until 9.00am. We eventually negotiated 8.45. Now most if this may be covid but again only one person was having breakfast when we went in.Despite the owner being better with breakfast the poor service hadalready tarnished my view

A fine, historic hotel, with a suitably sized onsite car park, in the centre of the village. A very short walk gets you to the sea shore. There was a temporary problem with the kitchen for the evening meal availability, but this was mitigated by the ability to order in a local take away delivery to be eaten on site.

Immaculate! spotless! everything looked brand new and the host left us bottled water in fridge lovely toiletries, plenty towels & bath robes. The breakfast was absolutely superb. Fruit fruit, cooked breakfast and great coffee! Warm nicely decorated pub with comfortable chairs seconds from hotel room.
