Our experience was excellent, although at first looking at the building from outside it did not give full justice to the hard work and tastefully designed decor and quality inside. The friendliness of the staff, standard of breakfast, excellent standard of rooms (we booked one executive and one other double room) were all above our expectations. Safe parking and easy access was available too. All in all we had a great family stay and enjoyed a lovely meal in the View restaurant too Thanks to the staff and management for making us feel so welcome Again a big emphasis on how well we were impressed with the rooms, beds and cleanliness of the bathrooms See you on our next visit Regards Kenny and Ina

The property was easy to find, well located and absolutely immaculate inside. Having parking at the rear of the property was such a boon, too. Beautifully appointed studio with all appliances needed for a comfortable stay. We never met our hosts, but did communicate with them via message, and they were extremely helpful and polite. I would highly recommend this property as a perfect stay for people visiting the Irvine area.

My mum and I came over from America for a family funeral. Braidmead House was like being with family. We felt so welcomed, the breakfast was excellent and comforting. This will definitely be where we stay when we visit Scotland.

We used Ardrossan South Beach train station which is around...

We used Ardrossan South Beach train station which is around 15 minute walk from this apartment. Ardrossan Harbour and Ardrossan Town stations are nearer but trains aren't as frequent. The beach is lovely and the promenade area is nice and flat for walking, very popular with dog walkers. It's a lovely quiet place and would definitely return.

We were there for a family occasion so it was a ideal location. Added. Bonus was great view from the flat and the weather good you could sit out on the small veranda It was. Also close to checchinis where the event was. .

Ardrossan has a beautiful, accessible beach for people with...

Ardrossan has a beautiful, accessible beach for people with disabilities, a beach wheelchair service and a Changing Places facility. We visited in order to attend a Memorial Service for the crew of HMS Dasher. We also presented a beach wheelchair to the Ardrossan Community Development Trust as a gift from Fleetwood Beach Wheelchairs. We would have stayed longer but the weather was very windy and the ferry was out of use at the moment. We will be returning.

Ardrossan is often overlooked.

Ardrossan is often overlooked. However, there are good facilities for people with children such as parks, cinema and bowling etc. which is worth bearing in mind if you are having to spend a night there due to ferry issues getting to or from Arran. If you have a car, it's not far from other places such as Largs or Irvine where there are also other things to see and do.

We stayed as we couldn’t get booked on the ferry home to the Isle of Arran. The hotel is a 2 minute drive to the ferry terminal in Ardrossan. I would highly recommend the hotel to visitors or residents on the island.

Adrossan people were very friendly when out walking our dog.

Adrossan people were very friendly when out walking our dog. The area was clean and tranquil. Had a lovely stay and would recommend to friends and family. We didn't try any eating places as weather not great, but had all amenities in flat to cook. Went a trip to harbour and local Asda which was 5 minutes in car. We will be back.
