We stayed at Bay View for one night, and what lovely clean comfortable place it was, its in beautiful spot overlooking the sea, the breakfast was amazing. The owners are lovely couple they recommended a nice place just a short walk from the guest house and we had fab evening meal. We would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend it , 🙂

Lovely quiet seaside village, a step back in time.

Lovely quiet seaside village, a step back in time. Very pretty high street with beautiful flowers and flowing stream. The only thing that the village needs to consider is getting the pubs to serve food later, particularly during the summer weekends when they have a huge captive audience. Stopping food at around 8:15 is too early for many people, as is an hours wait for food once ordered.

traditional quaint seaside town with lots of restaurants and pubs but note in early July most take food orders up to 9pm latest and a number close mondays.Recommend Ginas and Barrel of Beer(lunchtime food only)

Beer is just a lovely little village for staying at with easy access to all of east Devo and some nice eating places self catering easy with Aldi and Tesco 2 miles away and a nice little shop selling fruit veg and pies etc on the main street

A beautiful place to stay and explore, providing a wonderful base and easy access to go further afield. Was wonderful to be able to go for many different walks in and around Beer. Very much looking forward to a return visit!

We had been before which was the reason for returning. Everything convenient, great village vibe. Pubs/restaurants close together but not overwhelming. Locals very friendly and engaging. Beautiful place to be.

Beer is in a conservation area so has kept it's historical...

Beer is in a conservation area so has kept it's historical village feel. There are three public houses which all open in the winter and an excellent village shop. There are plenty of coastal walking opportunities from Beer.

Great location for easy access into Beer. Accommodation was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Plenty of room outside to park your car, after negotiating the very narrow access lane. Lovely friendly hosts, who kept in contact to make sure everything was as expected, and answer any questions we might have. If you wake in the night, look out at the stars; the skies are amazing !

The location was central to Beer and was close to restaurants, cafes, pubs and the beach. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The key to the room was left in the entrance so that our arrival time was not limited (Which removed arrival time worries). We felt safe here.

A lovely place to stay if you’re looking for fair quality. This is not a five star hotel but what it is is comfortable, clean and friendly. The breakfast is superb and well worth the extra. All in all a great few days in Beer.

Clean room with a comfortable mattress. Very close to the sea in the middle of beer. Very nice cleaning staff that spoke to us when we arrived and the day after. Very nice and light room.
