Outstanding hotel in a completely raw and natural area of Scotland. Staff were welcoming and extremely pleasant. The food selection covered many options and everything was delicious. I will definitely be back.

We love Bellochantuy Beach so much, we have been coming for a few years now. It's very relaxed with comfortable caravan's yards from the beach. The views are great and the location is means there is a hotel for meals and bar right on the door step and a shop and cafe within a couple of miles. The minutes town is 15 mins in the car.

What a perfect stay! Absolutely spotless and fresh! We were so happy with our stay! I usually stay in hotel but this has opened my eyes for B&B’s parking right outside your bathroom is just across the hall which I personally really liked and there is also a kitchen downstairs if you wish to use. Absolutely fantastic the owners should be proud of the B&B

A well stocked spacious home very close to beach and hotel.

A well stocked spacious home very close to beach and hotel. Great to have two bathrooms. Lovely hosts, very willing to help with additional requests and queries. Dog friendly. Lovely outside area to relax on the swingseat and enjoy a quiet sunset.

The host, Sandra, was exceptional. So friendly and helpful. The accommodation was spotless and had everything that you would need for a short break, or even longer. We ate across the road in the Argyll Hotel where the staff were lovely and the food fantastic. Only 10 minutes away from the nearest town, where we also ate at The Black Sheep - pizzas were delicious. Short trips included Southend (fab beach) and the Mull of Kintyre. Kell beach exceptional and you couldn't help but hum Paul McCartney's Mull of Kintyre :)

We loved the easy access to our room with 3 dogs and a massive walk in shower gave us that extra space. We loved the clean towels and also how special you made it for our dogs, extra doggie towels and blankets and chewies for all 3 :))) We loved tea and coffee, chocs and biscuits and shampoos etc We loved the restaurant options and easy access for the dogs plus being able to sit outside and enjoy beachfront views or inside sea views - awesome!! Extra special to take the dogs out for beach walks although sad about one of the Canadian geese, and too many dead seagulls on the shore but overall beautiful seaside adventure. We travelled down as far as Saddler and got to tour with best mate Jane. Enjoy the peace, quiet, clean natural lifestyle while you can and it becomes another tourist overcrowded beach.

Bellochantuy is a really small village, you almost have to have a car if you want to venture around. It is conveniently placed to explore the Kintyre peninsula, but not for someone who is looking for pubs and exploring different restaurants every night.

We stayed in Bay View for a week. Sandra the host is a very kind lady. She made sure we had settled in and nothing was too much trouble. The location is lovely, and the caravan was spacious and comfortable. The locals are so friendly, we left feeling that we had made friends. Bellochantuy is a very special place and even though we took three days to travel there we would definitely visit again some day. The Argyll Hotel is a stone’s throw away and has a variety of local gins and whiskeys and a lovely menu. Nick and Ian are very welcoming.

We received a very warm welcome from the owners. The hotel is right on the beach and offers stunning views. It has been beautifully renovated in recent years and the lounges and restaurant on the ground floor are very nice and comfortable. We also had dinner and breakfast there and both were excellent. The room is quite small but ok, the only thing that was a bit disturbing was the road that goes past the room, but it wasn't too noisy.

The host, Sandra, was exceptional. Very friendly and couldn't be more willing to help. The accommodation was spotless and had everything you needed for a short break, or even longer. Only 10 minutes away from the nearest town. Super hotel across the road from the site with excellent staff and food. The view was fantastic and falling asleep to the sound of the waves was sublime.

As a female travelling alone, I was made to feel very welcome by Nick. I felt comfortable when dining alone and the food was delicious . The hotel felt very safe, and peaceful at night. After watching the stunning sea views and sunset, I slept well. The free Wi-Fi allowed me to do some work in the morning from my room before heading off. Will definitely be back.
