Katrina and Tim were very friendly and welcoming. They have a lovely cottage which was a delight to stay in. A great location to access the Peak District. Room was warm and comfortable.

Breakfast was first class and dinner the night before was the same. The food was excellent and the service was extremely friendly and efficient. The rooms are very cosy and clean with beautiful towels and bedding. Couldn't fault a single thing !! The landlord and landlady were very friendly and obliging and provided a brilliant service - they certainly knew their trade. The location is in a nice quiet area of Bradwell and overlooks open countryside.

Cheshire Mews is in central Castleton but with free parking and field views is so quiet we slept really well. It was immaculately clean and we were given plenty of tea/coffee and hot chocolate.

Beautiful decor in room and bathroom, spotlessly clean and bed was soopa comfy. Breakfast bag great for me ahead of an early start walking Kinder Scout. Location perfect for walking and rail connections.

Bradwell is a lovely village with 3 pubs, local shops and a beautiful church. Our aim was to get plenty of walking in, which we certainly did. We were so close to Castleton, Hope and Hathersage, it was ideal location for us.

Very pretty village. Easy accessible by foot.

Very pretty village. Easy accessible by foot. Much quieter than surrounding Castleton and Hope. Nice place to stay for a night or two to be in a quieter area. Unfortunately it looked like the local chip shop had just closed down. Necessary to book a meal at a local pub (I think 3 to choose from). We only tried the Shoulder of Mutton, which was opposite the B&B, staff very helpful and food was nice (pub grub).

Beautiful views. Well equipped in a good location. Peaceful property. Some small improvements to bedding and maintenance would make this perfect. Also an inventory prior to arrival, so you are clear what's there. Good communication with owner and internet provision.

Lovely village.

Lovely village. Great pie and chips at the Shoulder of Mutton. Great ale at the White Hart. Both pubs are dog friendly. Loads of fields around to walk the dog. Co-op opens 6am til 10pm, so you can grab a sandwich before heading out on your walk.

Very close to Hope where most long distant walks start. Easy to find and very well maintained with its original stone buildings, bubbling river through the town, offer of local ice cream, fish & chips and 3 gorgeous pubs.

Typical Derbyshire village with brooks and bridges and rolling hills. Stone cottages and views everywhere. Everyone we met was friendly. Great walks nearby. Wish we had stayed longer to explore more.
