The Prince was great value for money. The breakfast was included and was amazing! The room seems newly renovated, however quite small. Although, you get what you pay for. Staff very friendly and in a good location, only few minutes walk from the middle of the Hight St.

We stayed at the Three Horseshoes over New Year. It is in a perfect location away from the crowds of Burford, set in beautiful countryside. The pub and rooms had just been refurbished. The rooms were really cozy and the food was excellent. We visited lots of pubs in the area and this was definitely the best. The owner and her stuff were wonderful, welcoming and helpful, we would definitely love to come back.

Anna was AMAZING and I even extended my stay because I didn’t want to leave! Piece of English paradise! She is much more than a host- she went above any expectations I had for my stay in the Cotswolds!! I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend this as a stay if you’re visiting the area!

I was welcomed by some lovely staff in the Tea Room who showed me through to the private garden. The room was perfect, very clean, great shower in the wet room and a very comfortable bed. I will definitely stay here again, it’s about a 5 minute walk from the free public car park with walking along the flat, which in Burford is a bonus. The garden area was beautiful with lovely flowers and a real sun trap. The food in The Priory Tea Room is also lovely, highly recommend the ice cream. Great stay, thank you.

Charming small historic town in west Oxfordshire.

Charming small historic town in west Oxfordshire. Postcard quaint stone houses and inns abound the main high street. Offering a diverse selection of small shops, bars cafés, plus, a museum. Ideally located to explore the wider Cotswolds. For those who love nature, positioned on the river Windrush, there are also great footpaths to walk.

Burford is a pretty Cotswolds small town with some interesting medieval buildings. The High Street is very steep. It was very busy on a sunny day and parking is an issue. The surrounding countryside is lovely and the town is well placed for visiting attractions like Blenheim Palace and the Cotswold Wildlife Park.

My stay with my wife was wonderful. The location is ideal, with plenty of attractions and picturesque villages nearby to explore, including the Garden Centre, Bibury, and Stow-on-the-Wold. There was certainly no shortage of things to see and do during our visit.

Burford is lovely Cotswold village.

Burford is lovely Cotswold village. It is on a hill so can be difficult. It has a very picturesque church with a nice spire. There about 16 pubs in the village and some do food. There are gift shops and a small coop food store. We went for the Cotswold Wildlife Park and garden. This is only about five minutes down the road. It is also a good base if you want to go walking. It is about 20 minutes from Bourton on the water also worth a visit. We had one meal in the Cotswold Arms which was very nice. Staff there were friendly. They had on a couple of local real ales available.

The Hound Cottage in Burford is an exceptional period cottage, situated only a few steps away from the centre of the village. We had a brief conversation with the hosts prior to our arrival and all our questions were answered. As you would expect with a period cottage the ceilings, especially in the bathroom, are quite low so keep that in mind when booking this beautiful cottage. Burford is a perfect base to explore the Cotswolds with its stunning nature, excellent pubs and restaurants and many sights nearby.

I absolutely adored my stay at The Bull Hotel in Burford! The room was wonderfully spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. Its elegant decor and comfortable furnishings added to the charm. Although there was a bit of noise in the morning and afternoon due to the room's location above the walkway leading to the garden, it did not detract from the overall delightful experience. Would highly recommend for a charming and comfortable stay!

This is a pub with only two guest rooms, not a high end fancy hotel, which suited us perfectly. Relaxed environment, large, private room with its own entrance, The Royal Oak is right in the centre of Burford but still really quiet. The staff were all cheerful and attentive. Breakfast was exceptional and served in the residents’ bar by the guy who cooked it: he was great, efficient, friendly and an English breakfast master chef!
