Room and Bed were great. We were made to feel at home right from the start. Breakfast was excellent and exceptional value. You need a car. It’s a 15 minute drive to Ormskirk Station - trains every 15 minutes. 20 minute train ride to Liverpool. Would highly recommend this place

Lovely spot with several pubs and restaurants. Hop and Vine was particularly good for food (booking recommended) and Ringotails pub has a wonderful garden. Situated on Leeds-Liverpool canal which is great for long walks.

We ate both nights at the Hop Vine pub, and would recommend...

We ate both nights at the Hop Vine pub, and would recommend it for quality of the food, and the extremely friendly staff and manager. It was easy to find, and although parking was too easy, it was only a short walk from the quay parking lot. You DO need to book to be sure, but they did manage to find us a table the first night. Well worth eating there.

Didn't visit for long but it seemed nice. The people were friendlyand helpful. Travel choices were good clean and efficient, all those used were on time and seemed reasonably priced as did the car parks.

Having stayed for business I spent little time in Burscough...

Having stayed for business I spent little time in Burscough, and lots of time in Southport. However from what I did see it seems a great base for further exploring should you be here for a holiday or weekend away. There are village shops and a couple of very good pubs nearby for eating out - Ring 'O' Bells being great for food. The smaller local lanes are not good for walking - too many twists and turns and hazardous to both walkers and cyclists.

It was located in a quiet location. Plenty of room to park.

It was located in a quiet location. Plenty of room to park. The flies in the room were not nice. And there was a very unpleasant smell when sat outdoors in the tea room garden. As our stay was for only one night we did not mention these problems. But it would make us question a stay of any longer.

There were three of us staying within the property, and there was enough space for us. The kitchen was an adequate size, with all modern facilities within and clean. The host had left us tea, coffee, and a pack of crumpets which was a nice gesture. The double bedroom was a decent size with plenty of storage. Twin room adajcent was also adequate for our needs. I would stay there again if we come back to Burscough. All local amenities are within a mile or so.

Lovely place. Nice and clean, very comfortable and tasty breakfast. The owners are very welcoming and friendly - you’re not just a room number. Great location for visiting Burscough and Lathom. Good pubs within walking distance. Very good value for money.

Wonderful and helpful hostess. She helped us store our bikes and was extremely kind to me when I got stranded in the hotel room and had to leave all my stuff in there. The room was clean and very cosy.
