A very relaxing and scenic venue for our overnight stay in the area. The advance instructions were very helpful. The accommodation is of a very high standard and we loved the private patio.

Exceptional experience, every thing you can think of was available in the room. Very spacious room with all kitchen appliances. The host really focused on small details like fresh roses and good basic breakfast things. Would definitely recommend this property.

It was perfect! I had a very comfortable and cosy stay. The owners are so friendly, and the property is in a lovely quiet village right off the A1. It was beautifully decorated, there was fresh milk for a cup of tea and the bed was very comfortable. A real home away from home! They had everything you could need.

Firstly, it wasn’t a 'chain' property, followed by location, peacefulness , stylish, modern, classic, cozy, spacious! We loved EVERYTHING! The attention to detail, from decor to room layout and coordination of utensils etc was (in our humble opinion) out of this world gorgeous! It is a true gem. Oh, the milk in the fridge ready to use for a cuppa or some coffee, and the cookies left on our pillows. Truly appreciated these touches. Oh…. & did I mention the outside space, that too was another beautifully thought out area…..Thank you.

Although Burton Coggles is a small hamlet, it is easily accessible, and has good roads and country lanes going through really picturesque villages. It is easy to drive to bigger roads to do sightseeing in the surrounding areas

The meals at the Cholmeley Arms are great.

The meals at the Cholmeley Arms are great. Highly recommend Jade's shop/tea room which is on the same site as the pub. All the local people we met were very friendly. Although a small village we had an interesting walk visiting the church and surrounding area.

The room was good and spacious bed was superb.

The room was good and spacious bed was superb. The shower was good but couldn't increase temperature without increasing pressure. The shower exterior was very dirty close to the floor. As a general all round was good enough just needs a little more effort.

This is absolutely wonderful, first class accommodation and food. All staff were very friendly and competent in their work. It is set in a small picturesque village with beautiful countryside around it. There was seating outside to enjoy the well kept garden and lawn with stone ornaments. The eatery was in the lovely pub reached by a short path. Had a very enjoyable stay and would certainly recommend to anyone who loves the countryside or just looking for relaxation with good food to enjoy. There is a fridge in the room , keeps your fresh milk and water cool.

Burton Coggles is a quiet village in the peaceful Lincolnshire countryside. There is one pub - The Cholmeley Arms - that serves fabulous food and has a small number of guest rooms. The area is good for walking and wildlife. A great place to visit if you want a peaceful getaway. Belton House (NT) and Easton Gardens are a short drive away, and are both well worth visiting.

The staff were fabulous and breakfast was so fresh and plentiful. Although the rooms were a little dated, they were comfortable, clean and had everything you might need. The property is in a quaint little village called Burton Coggles or Burton-le Coggles near Grantham and was so peaceful and charming. It has a pub, restaurant, pizzas to order, a farm produce store, which also sold icecream, called Jades and Jade was an absolutely lovely lady. You didnt need to leave for anything, although a walk around the village is a must.

Breakfast was absolutely great! Overall the food was very tasteful. Thanks chef! We did not try the Friday night pizza's but they looked good and the feedback we picked up from the local was very positive. If you stay in The Cholmeley Arms and plan to have diner, make sure to book a table in advance. Room was very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Very nice to have a studio where you do not have to go through the hotel / pub to be outside. Overall staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful.

The rooms are large and comfortable, spotlessly clean. We had dinner in the hotel, they have an excellent chef. The meal was first class. Breakfast is also made and served by the chef, I wish we had been able to do it credit, but alas age reduces breakfast appetite.
