An amazing looking hotel not at all what I was expecting in an excellent location, easy to reach via public transport. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice. Lovely clean room and comfortable bed. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and the restaurant menu is well worth a look.

The property is well situated on the edge of the New Forest...

The property is well situated on the edge of the New Forest and only a short distance to the city of Southampton. Although the roads in to and out of Southampton have so many roundabouts and traffic lights which always seem to be red. It is a great base to many attractions in the area. Would have loved to have had more time there.

Cozy, comfortable and friendly.

Cozy, comfortable and friendly. Great location for exploring the new forest. Toni and Paul excellent hosts, very accommodating in the kitchen for a fussy eater. Breakfast had a great variety and plenty of it, evening menu beautiful and all cooked to perfection. Thank you.

Picturesque rural setting and yet less than a mile from a...

Picturesque rural setting and yet less than a mile from a motorway junction. No traffic problems in Cadnam itself ... Lyndhurst was the only hold-up in the entire week. We didn't do much walking but just strolling around local roads was a delight and felt safe. Within easy reach of the New Forest, Minstead, Lyndhurst, the coast, Romsey and Winchester ... we enjoyed them all.

Very pretty location and easy access to New Forest but the Lodge we stayed in had no living area and a tiny Kitchen diner not really suitable for more than two although meant for four people. The Lodge was very clean with nice decor but just lacked the comfort as no where to sit other than bedrooms

Awful place to get into and find in the area of Cadnam! Would never stay again after the awful experience of trying to find the place! Obtaining the key from security boxes, Toni not answering her phone even though she knew I was struggling! The front door key wouldn’t release from the lock! Massive Deflection from the owners when I emailed them! No Accountability for their errors!

Cadnam is a good base for exploring the New Forest.

Cadnam is a good base for exploring the New Forest. Ideally you need motorised transport or a bicycle to see the Forest in its entirity. We took our dogs. There were local walks in the Forest that were walking distance from our accommodation. The village has a shop and pubs that serve food.

Great location. Room and bathroom were slightly small but clean and tidy. Towels were white and fluffy. Bed was comfortable and there were coffee/tea facilities with biscuits. Food was exceptional for a smallish bed and breakfast hotel. We enjoyed dinner of a whole Lemon Dover Sole and Brill, amazing. Breakfast was freshly cooked and you could have freshly chopped fruit, cereals, yoghurts, tea and coffee. We adapted the menu to suit us and it wasn’t a problem. Thank you for a great staycation 😁

So much to praise at Le Chateau The shower was excellent - I always judge a hotel by their shower first - the bed comfortable, the room & bathroom spotless. Ample parking. But the breakfast was exceptional - I have never had such a wonderful continental breakfast. So much fresh fruit - raspberries, strawberries blueberries, melon, bananas, figs , yogurt, - 3 different cheeses, croissants....& so much more on the meat & fish front.

First time staying in a B&B as usually opt for chain hotels so you know what to expect. Le Chateau was a fantastic experience from the warm welcome at check in to an immaculately clean room, which you very seldom get in a big chain hotel and was half the price. The bed was so comfortable, I actually overslept in the morning and would definitely book Le Chateau over the usual Premier Inn / Travel Lodge ect when I'm back in the area.
