Super cool Georgian home remodeled with tons of character. Well stocked with kitchen items and lots of personal touches. My family loved the art, design, and furniture which made the whole experience special. We really appreciated all of the extras like games, guitar, piano, espresso machine and three other ways to make coffee from French press to Mocha pot. Highly recommended for families and anyone looking for a memorable and unique experience while staying in Cornwall.

Great place in a fantastic location. Very friendly and extremely helpful. The apartment is amazing and exceeded the expectations we had. Having 2 bathrooms is a real bonus, and the whole place has everything you could need from a Washer/Dryer and dishwasher to a Wine fridge. We would not hesitate to recommend it or go back. Thank you

Tyacks Hotel was an excellent place to stay in Camborne. The hotel is old but very well preserved and our room was large, warm and comfortable. Breakfast was amazing with a section of cereal choices, juices, tea and coffee to choose from and then the waitress taking orders for hot food. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. We appreciated their secure garage where our bicycles were parked overnight.

Researching Camborne on Youtube we did not expect too much...

Researching Camborne on Youtube we did not expect too much from the town, but Meadowview is in a really nice, quiet area. The town is much like any other old industrial (mining) town. Plenty of interesting places to visit with easy access to both south and north Cornish coasts. Loved visiting the Minack Theatre, Mousehole, St Mawes, Carn Euny and the St Just Church in Roseland. Enjoyed our carvery meal at the Shire Inn. Meals at Wetherspoons were cheap and quick.

Camborne is quite central and ideal for anyone wanting to bury someone at the huge cemetery. The biggest shopping attraction in the town was a new ALDI, and a Card Shop. In actual fact, those are more or less the only shops - unless you want to buy some second-hand clothes, place a bet, or get some beer from the 24/7 off-license (which curiously enough was closed 24/7 during our stay) A great shame; I knew the town as a kid and it was great - full of shops and historical buildings. Alas no more.

It’s in a fairly central location, so nothing is a long drive from the cottage. There are plenty of lovely farm shops and grocery stores just 10 minutes away, which makes staying here really convenient and comfortable.

Good location to catch up with family and see parts if Cornwall we know very little about. Roads are a bit narrow in places but same all over Cornwall. We didn't spend much time in the town. The town itself did not lend itself to exploration with only a short stay.

The Checkin process was clear - the accommodation was very clean and comfortable with good amenities. Self-serve breakfast was very good. The hosts were very friendly. Camborne is a good base for day trips to St.Ives, Lands End, Penzance, etc. There is a very good pub/restaurant nearby called The Shire - ideally you need your own vehicle to stay here - there is private off street parking. We stayed at Camborne as it was close to relatives.

We stayed at Camborne as it was close to relatives. The train station was a short walk as well so we used that to visit St Ives, Penzance, Mousehole and Lands end via train and bus. The hotel was great although it didn’t have a lift but a very helpful man took our luggage up for us.

Fabulous stay, great facilities, lovely view from our room and good location. 20 minute walk into the centre of Camborne or only a few of minutes in a taxi. Very accommodating hosts and good continental breakfast with lots of choice. Thank you for the Creme egg on Easter Sunday! Would fully recommend for anyone sightseeing around Cornwall!

Nice friendly local pub with character and history as shown to me by the landlord. Just off the A30 at western end of Camborne. Lovely fresh wholesome breakfast. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Great location, close to St Ives, Porthtowan, and lots of amenities in Camborne. Fully equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge, kettle etc. Wood burning stove and underfloor heating as well!
