Room 5 was comfortable and quiet, spotlessly clean, with a large bathroom. I was only there for one night and had a very comfortable stay, with a wander down to the local pub for dinner, and a generous cooked breakfast from Sarah in the morning. I was asked what I wanted for my breakfast when I phoned to confirm my booking. The location is right opposite the train station which was perfect for me. The hosting is definitely 'low touch' which was also fine with me.

The Annex room with private bathroom was very good. The description of having to climb 40 stairs to the annex rooms is misleading. It was not a straight up 40 Steps but definitely not for those traveling with suitcases. Loved the closeness to the cathedral which allowed free unlimited walking in the cathedral and on the grounds all day. Breakfast was sit down by time skits and offered a fabulous huge choice. The rooms bathroom was big and the room had a large smart tv. Internet signal was strong. Definitely the place to stay if you’re a pilgrim starting the Via Francigena because you feel your right in the centre of this beautiful religious sanctuary.

The staff are so lovely and the Korean restaurant is so nice! Didn’t get to try the fire pit but I bet that would have been the same! It was a great stay and we’d definitely come back!

Best location , not far from Canterbury West station. The WestGate Tower and WestGate garden , the attractions are just a few walk away. The staffs are friendly and full of service minded. We had been changed the attic room to the ground floor because of the large luggages , the room is nice and wider .

Very nice building and spacious room with a calming view from our window. Breakfast was offering wide variety and the hot plate was just on time, really far more delicious than any hotel breakfast and my expectations.

The worst b&b ever! No basic running water and hot water. Shower was from the 1970s! Pressure was so weak! Freezing room! Dog in the room next door. I slept in a hotel that allows dogs in the room! I am allergic to dogs! So disappointed.

Really nicely appointed small cottage in lovely Chilham and a really well maintained courtyard garden. One pub and a tea room a 30 second stroll and another pub a few hundred yards away us a post office. About a 15 minute drive or a short train journey to Canterbury. Just love the place.

Lovely old cottage on the square at Chilham. Very comfortable inside with all the things you needed for a stay. Beds comfortable. Kitchen well equipped. Convenient for Canterbury, Leeds, Deal and Dover Castles. Very pleased with our stay.
