The Bear is just it. Staff is exceptionally professional and friendly, and the hotel itself is the perfect Cowbridge destination. With a 24/7 quaint bar, a (few) modern restaurant(s), and that very relaxed but fine ambience, it’s a repeat for us for sure.

The room was massive and absolutely stunning the bed was so comfortable. The blok restaurant was incredible food was so delicious and tasty.

Rooms are clean and a good size ,food in the Indian restaurant was excellent,staff friendly.

This charming Grade II Listed building is located 5 minutes from the M4. It is thought to have been a gift from Queen Elizabeth I to the Earl of Leicester.

There is so much to see in the hotel itself. A fantastic building with architectural oddities all over the place. Staff were tremendous and the rooms were very well presented with a nice mix of traditional and modern decor. I'd imagine the garden would be lovely on a sunny evening (which we didnt get..) Breakfast was good and the staff serving it was happy to deal with any requests.
