Lyn is a great host..ready for a chat if you want one. She gives over her lounge as a guest lounge with a wood fire stoked up and so cosy with a view across the valley. Breakfast is at the kitchen table in her beautiful kitchen. The bathroom is spacious and super modern and the bed and linen are first class . Clara the dog was a fun bonus. Felt like we were with family. The Buck Inn had a great menu and was very friendly.

Would 100% recommend! Beautiful house at the end of the beautiful undulating road to High Birkwith from Horton-in-Ribblesdale. The place is quiet and surrounded by farmland, a perfect countryside getaway. The house is in the Pennine Way between Pen-y-Ghent and Whernside. There’s no signal but the wifi is very good. Property is shared with the owner. Rachel was very nice, discreet and helpful, and has a lovely Spaniel called Reggie. Bathroom (for guests only) is large and kept very clean, with a big bathtub, ideal after a long day of hiking or cycling. Our room was also large. Bikes can be stored safely within the property.

Battery Barn is located in Skipton, just 28 miles from Ripley Castle and 30 miles from Royal Hall Theatre. This vacation home offers free private parking and free Wifi.

We can't fault this little pub in the most beautiful setting. The food is outstanding and the staff are lovely. We brought our dog and they were really accommodating of him, he's quite big and they moved our table to give us more space for our evening meal.
