The property is actually a cafe with rooms on the second floor. The rooms were very spacious and had a king sized bed and two single beds. The toilet was also very big equipped with a large shower. Very comfortable room with just nice heating that was turned on throughout the day. We did not have breakfast there but the latte was very delicious and was purchased using a £5 voucher that was placed in the room by the kind staff. The location is superb as you can see the ocean from the window.

The hotel was great, a bit confusing as we entered from the back of the hotel where the car park is but staff quickly directed us to the reception and we were booked in very quickly, we also asked for a hairdryer and iron and both items were brought to us within minutes, staff all very friendly, we had dinner in the bar which was lovely and good value as well

This is a beautiful property. Extremely elegant. Very comfortable bed and well designed rooms with all amenities one would like in a hotel room. Parking was good and the restaurant was convenientl, reasonabley priced, and served good food. And the property is a short and easy drive to the historic sights. Highly recommend staying here!

Dunfermline is a beautiful town with the lovely Pittencrief Park, the Abbey, Andrew Carnegie Museum and many more attractions. It is busy enough to enjoy yourself and quiet enough to get some rest if needed. The High Street has many charity shops to browse. It was a pleasure to watch the parade of Dunfermline Bagpipers through the town and enjoy their music.

Historic City with free entrance to the abbey and a lovely park. Handy for Edinburgh and Culross - I recommend Culross, a short bus ride away. Historic village with a "palace" and abbey, close to the sea.

Beautiful Territory with hills and enriched nature and the people are so polite, gentle, and helpful everywhere i go. Nonetheless, the city looks " die" after 4 pm no people in the streets or parks only few and at night it is so scary; no lights in the large parks, the hills and the side streets across the hills .

Nice historic town and not far from Edinburgh. The historic site of the Abbey and palace were easy and great to visit. Surprisingly it was free. The large Carnegie gardens are quite lovely and well worth a visit.

If you are in to ancient history then a visit to the Abbey is to be recommended which houses the burial place of Robert the Bruce plus other ancient kings. The town itself has many narrow streets in the centre but is easy to navigate as opposed to a lot of cities. Car parks are fairly plentiful and cost not excessive. Put altogether certainly worth a two or three day visit. If wanting to also visit Edinburgh, which is only a relatively short distance away across the Forth Bridge, then stay in Dunfermline at often cheaper accommodation but take the train for the short journey. Parking in Edinburgh is difficult and expensive.

Like many Scots, I had never been to Dunfermline and only had vague ideas about it from school history lessons. I was pleasantly surprised. The Abbey is wonderful and it is worth reading a bit about its history before going. The town is a mixture of old, very old, and new, with a thriving High Street. The Carnegie Museum was very interesting. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed. It's a place you can wander around at your own speed, and the main attractions are free. It's the antidote to Edinburgh!

Lovely little hotel with extremely helpful staff. Food was good and helpings very generous. The rooms at the front have balconies and a wonderful view. There is even a fleece blanket to wrap up in if it is cold! It is well worth the little extra to have one of these. It is a good centre for exploring west and central Fife. The village is lovely. Our visit was in June when the flowers were wonderful. There is also a bus stop directly outside the hotel which we used to have a day in Dunfermline without having to think about parking.

Loved here. The hotel staff, breakfast choice, comfy bed and spa facilities included in price was the best value. Located just out side Dunfermline meant it was a ten pound taxi to the city station to get into Edinburgh markets. Spent £7.50 on a return train. The spa was worth the money I paid alone. The room comfortable and clean.

Host very friendly and accommodating. Room was spotless! It was also tidied everyday while we were out to a great standard. Host obviously takes pride in his hotel. Great location (right next to Dunfermline Queen Margaret train station) away from main road so no road traffic noise.
