Great property in the centre of the Town with generous parking. The property is tastefully refurbished to a very high standard and has everything you need. The underfloor heating and wood buring stove are a very nice touch. Just enjoying a coffee out in the terraced gadens with rooftop views and surrounded by songbirds before I check out. Nicely tucked away, I forgot I was in the town centre. A real gem of a find, I'll definitely be back!

Beautiful settings, stunning room and amenities, double ended bath, separate dress room with ample hangers for clothes, wonderful tea & coffee as well as sparkling drinks and fresh milk in the room. Good selection of Biscuits in the room but the three course breakfast was stunning. Fresh berries Greek yoghurt and honey, granola for start, followed by a wonderful Welsh breakfast with the best ingredients all cooked to your liking with fresh sourdough toast and quasaints .... Absolutely out of this world for the price.

While it wasn't your typical holiday destination we enjoyed our stay. My grandchildren love castles so we were in the perfect area to suit our needs. We ate out at The Horseshoe Inn, very nice meal & also at The Railway Inn. On our last day we went on the Sabrina Boat in Shrewsbury & then lunch at the Hickory Smoke House afterwards. Perfect end to a perfect week

It's more village than a town, there are several houses and cottages, a beautiful church, it has well tended streets. There are few pubs that serve food including where we stayed The Railway Inn which we have no hesitation in recommending.

Very quiet and peaceful.

Very quiet and peaceful. A good place to relax and escape from the world but also a good base to explore the surrounding countryside. I didn't see any shops local to the property so it's best to make sure you are well stocked up for your stay. I recommend the Railway Inn for meals.

Bit out of the way very rural but in a lovely spot.

Bit out of the way very rural but in a lovely spot. We were not too far away from our destination but were unable to secure a booking at the nearer hotel due to other places bring fully booked but we were well satisfied with what we got
