Everything. Breakfast was lovely. Tasting menu was amazing. Staff were great, especially the girl on the reception/room service who we saw the most. Would visit again and highly recommend. Stayed in one of the ?garden rooms (seperate building with large room and bathroom). Was a very pleasant stay. Peaceful and private.

I loved this old coach house. It was filled with of old world charm. The room was excellent- we didn’t actually have a meal in the restaurant but our breakfast was delicious, all prepared to order. I wished I could stay longer

Froggatt is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay in the Peak District. Surrounded by stunning countryside, woodland walks, and dramatic edges, it was the perfect base for exploring the area. We loved the quiet atmosphere and the amazing scenery right on the doorstep. The location is ideal for visiting places such as Curbar Edge, Stanage Edge, Mam Tor, Castleton, Bakewell, and many other Peak District highlights. There are also lovely local pubs, cafés, and scenic drives nearby. A perfect destination for anyone who enjoys nature, walking, photography, or simply relaxing in beautiful surroundings. We would definitely return.

Froggatt is a great location - we parked the car and didn't use it until we left. Plenty of places within walking distance, many pretty paths/riverside walks locally - walked to Padley Gorge, Eyam, up to Froggatt Edge and around to White Edge, Baslow Edge and Curbar Edge as well as around the Derwent river Short rides to Monsal Trail, Chatsworth Estate, Ladybower Reservoir, Castleton.... Great Craft shop (and Cafe) at Calver Bridge

Excellent place for walks.

Excellent place for walks. Froggatt edge just a short climb away, up the road and along wooded tracks. Stunning views. River at the end of the lane for the start of other walks. . Chatsworth and Longshaw short drives away, and the more popular Mam Tor, Lud's Church about a half hour's drive away. Plenty more good walks! And beautiful, interesting churches and history. Small Spar supermarket 5 minute drive away for basic provisions. Local pub very friendly, quiet but quite expensive. But a nice little scramble up the hill through the woods!

Lovely rural location for escaping to the countryside.

Lovely rural location for escaping to the countryside. We enjoyed all our pre-booked meals in the dining room at Cliff College. Great menu with choices for dietary needs and served with a smile. Amazed at how well the staff coped with serving such large numbers. Definitely hope to return.

The accommodation is very roomy with a large comfortable lounge and a separate dining room. The kitchen was fully equipped and there was a nice outside patio when the weather was warm. The location is in a quiet part of Froggatt village but is very close to excellent walking and other Peak District attractions.

The location is absolutely idyllic, beautiful property. Stunning views of Froggatt Edge. The property has a kitchen/living space/dining area which is absolutely perfect, there is a double bedroom and a decent sized bathroom. There is an enclosed garden area behind the property which is perfect for a dog.

The bed was comfy. There was plenty of room to put your things. There were plenty of drinks available (not the usual 1 each only) within the room. The bathroom supplies were proper supplies not the hotel types. The hosts were lovely and chatty with lots of knowledge of the areas we wanted to visit.

Great little hôtel. Staff were friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. The bedroom was clean and decorated well. The only thing that would have been nice was a small table for kettle and tea making facilities. The food was exceptional, excellent menu choice and quality.
