So convenient for us when we visit our son, great value, quiet so we sleep well, clean comfy beds, lovely shower, TV, nice hand wash and shower gel so very handy you don't have to pack loads from home. Spare pillows . Excellent ! Staff on reception are so friendly and helpful and also the room cleaner/staff are great and so friendly . Free parking which is brilliant as previously stayed in Leeds city and it.is extortionate, being as we visit so often this helps alot

Everything was really great, location was really good only a short walk from the centre had plenty of restaurants around for both dining and quick snacks! I got there early and planned to leave my bags but they checked if my room was ready without me asking and I was able to check in early! All the staff I met were super friendly - the room was clean and all the amenities were good - had a lovely quiet room and though we only got up early enough for breakfast once what was provided was perfect

Everything was lovely. We love historic places with quiet assured by expansive grounds. The location was very good for our return to Heathrow in another day. We enjoyed the pool after a busy day. Breakfast had many offerings to start the next travel day. Spring was a perfect time to enjoy things in bloom and the weather was perfect.

The room was clean and so was the bathroom. Telephone to call reception wasn't connected so that was bad The reception was very helpful finding my husband glasses. All in all it was a good stay

The Holiday Inn Garforth suited us very well.

The Holiday Inn Garforth suited us very well. The location and price being important for us, specially the location. Holiday Inn is predictable, no thrills but a safe choice. We were on "the Mission" to meet our first Grandchild, so this time we only needed a place to sleep. It would not be my first choice If I went on my Honeymoon, but it's "value for money" and just what we expected👍 We will be back and most likely do some more sightseeing next time😉

We had a really great experience stopping at the Garforth...

We had a really great experience stopping at the Garforth holiday inn. The location was perfect as we was attending Leeds festival. The parking was free for all day so we had no problems with leaving the car all day and returning late evening. The staff was really helpful and efficient at checking us in after midnight. Rooms was very clean. Perfect stay for what we needed.

Comfy bed with good pillows. Corridor outside room smelt feisty/damp and the door was difficult to open/close properly. Room smelt very damp/mouldy. I did mention to staff at Reception and they offered me a room change. At 10pm at night I did not feel this was viable. The next morning my eyes were gritty and sore, I had a sore throat and a swollen tongue and my breathing was restricted. My friend came and she could smell the too - within minutes of entering the room she started sneezing and wheezing (she has asthma). I mentioned again at reception and they said there had been a previous report of the same issues - that the vents in the room had been looked at and no issue identified. The receptionist then suggested that it could be the carpet. If there was a known issue the room should not have been available.

Check in was not great mix up with rooms then taken to a room that had not been cleaned. Once initial mix up sorted out (bit of a pain when you have three small children with you) our stay was relaxed and fun. The children loved the pool and relaxed dining, breakfast was lovely and good choice. The hotel was easy to get to and to travel around the local area. We ate in the hotel the food was good the service was a little slow and the restaurant was not busy so this could be improved.

Great location for what we needed, meant we could walk home after our evening out, instead of getting taxis to a hotel. The house is equipped with everything you need. There is lots of space and the bedrooms are good sizes. Great communication from the owner, so no stress on how to access the property etc. the air fryer was an unexpected bonus for breakfast! Will definitely look to rebook next time we’re up that way.

Really lovely home in a nice and quiet street close to East Garforth train station. 'Delightful' in the listings name couldn't be more true! Easy check in instructions and were allowed to check in earlier per request. Would definitely book again when back down visiting friends in the area.
