The whole hotel was just beautiful! From the gorgeous signature scent in the reception area, to the very helpful staff, and the quality of the room and dining areas. The breakfast was absolutely superb! We loved that we could order a memory foam pillow, which was delivered quickly by the staff. An absolutely first rate stay!

I was in a room on the second floor at an adjacent building from the main building of this hotel complex. There were 4 rooms on the 2nd floor accessible by stairs. The bed was comfortable and there was a separate bathroom in the room with a bathtub. There was a plexiglass protecting the one side of the bathtub to prevent water from splashing out. The hot water was plentiful, and the water pressure was very good. The breakfast was typical Scottish style breakfast and was excellent. It was freshly cooked on the spot and the coffee was made on order (machine made and tasty!) The complex is right next to the Drumoig golf course and there was a deal for a "stay and play" which was very attractive in terms of pricing.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the area, and the property itself was very fancy, with elegant decor and a luxurious atmosphere. Our room was spacious, spotless, and well maintained, with all the amenities we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to help and make our stay more enjoyable. The breakfast was exceptional — fresh, delicious, and offering a wide variety to start the day perfectly. Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations, and we would be thrilled to stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable experience.

The lodge was excellent, fairly new I think, so everything was in mint condition , showers & beds & beds & kitchen & sofas etc perfect. very convenient for St.Andrews and the east coast , half a mile away is a good pub/restaurant called The Tavern & nearby fish and chip shop although the city is only 8 mins away so we chose that option. Countryside everywhere and wonderful views of the coast . This is a nice place to stay because it is so quiet but a stones throw away from the coast and all that has to offer.

Handy distance from St Andrews for access to shops,...

Handy distance from St Andrews for access to shops, restaurants and supermarkets. The roads around the area are in atrocious condition, with lots of road signs hidden by trees and bushes, or rendered illegible by lichen or green fungal growth. This makes navigation difficult and it's easy to end up in the wrong lane at roundabouts, or make a wrong turn at junctions. Overall it's a surprisingly rundown area considering the farming wealth, and it's close proximity to St Andrews, which is itself very rundown and third worldy.
