Bedrooms very good. Bed excellent and comfy. En suite facilities very good. Staff very friendly. Downside - no evening meals available and this wasn't made clear on their website. Lack of fresh coffee in mornings. Decor downstairs a bit old fashioned.

Lovely complimentary breakfast in a basket, set us up for our days of adventures. We found we were perfectly situated to explore the surrounding areas and also to breathe in the history associated with Hastings and 1066. We will definitely stay again whenever we are planning our next visit. Perfect host too, very welcoming and accommodating. Would highly recommend for anyone to stay in this beautiful house. Very clean and tidy, great for a fabulous getaway. The Beefeater White Hart pub close by had a really nice menu and before 5pm they had a cheaper meals menu which we managed to get there in time 1 day and what we had was delicious. The evening menu was also full of good choices. Good staff customer service. We actually ate at this pub every night of our 3 night stay at Guestling House. They had an offer to join up to Beefeater and get 25% off your next bill. They also accept Blue Light card for 25% off your food bill. The cheapest petrol was also near that pub just going straight on the road towards Hastings old town and it was with a Londis shop on the right hand side.

Had an overnight stay here to play a couple of local golf...

Had an overnight stay here to play a couple of local golf courses. On site parking important & quiet location was appreciated. Good breakfast which set us up nicely for the day. Not enough time to explore more of the nearby towns and attractions so we'll have to come back again. Would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was excellent.

The breakfast was excellent. The hosts were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The bedroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. The location is very good for Hastings, Rye and Winchelsea. Avoid Room 6 if you like your room to be dark at night!

Great value for big double room.

Great value for big double room. Opportunity to eat breakfast outside if the weather is good, overlooking the owner’s vineyard. It was also the first week of their new pop-up coffee and cake converted horse box in the grounds. Good luck with it!

Very warm welcome from both of the managers with traditional afternoon tea in a cosy historic lounge. Room was very clean and has all what needed. Both of the managers went extra mile by prepared takeout breakfast boxes as they don’t normally do. Nice dining area. Food was very nice and exceptionally fresh. Plenty of parking spots.
