A very surprising place on our itinerary. The facilities in our room were not new, but they were all very clean and everything worked properly. A very warm and pleasant room for the price. Although some things need to be replaced, because they are kept in good condition, it feels like coming home to grandma's house. 😊The most convenient check-in and plenty of parking spaces.😊

It is only a 10 minute drive to York, and it has free parking possibilities on the spot. The house is absolutely spacious, it's comfortable for a big company, 10 people or even more. The beds are comfortable and there are 3 toilets and 2 bathrooms. It is a typical English home in an old house but nicely renovated.

Middle of absolutely nowhere which was great for us.

Middle of absolutely nowhere which was great for us. The surrounding countryside was spectacular, not a lot to do but walk & cycle. Was a great stopping off point on our Coast to Coast cycling adventure.

A small village location .our main reason for our trip was to spend the visiting Castle Howard and grounds . A wonderful estate and building a great shame it rained and did not allow us time to see garden and grounds during late afternoon.

The site is lovely, we had a brand new lodge and is was so nice, everything you could need and spotless. The showers were lovely and the beds really comfy. We will defiinitely go again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The people who run it are lovely and very helpful. SUPERB

Nice country location, close to York city centre and also in...

Nice country location, close to York city centre and also in the heart of North Yorkshire Moors, so that you can visit Castle Howard, Helmsley, Pickering and the coast beyond. Huby is a lovely village with a nice pub and Chinese restaurant. The York Bird of Prey centr is also nearby.

Lovely hotel. Our twin room was very spacious, clean & warm. Breakfast was lovely. Couldn't fault it. Only that it was a bit too far out from city centre but knew that when it was booked. Set in very quiet area. Beautiful venue for a wedding

Nice location out of town, cheaper than being in central...

Nice location out of town, cheaper than being in central York. All staff were friendly, helpful and attentive and the breakfast was good. If the bathroom had been inspected thoroughly then they might have noticed that the toilet needed some maintenance but this wasn't a major problem for us. Otherwise all good. I would visit again.

Really lovely barn conversion just a few minutes drive from the village of Huby and 25mins from York city centre. The accommodation has everything you need for entertainment: snooker table, dart board, BBQ, hot tub. Plenty of space for a large family gathering and nice and quiet.

We stayed in this hotel in January for 2 nights and we wanted to come back So we came up for one night as we were visiting a friend Staff were amazing everything was amazing Room was tidy but walls were a bit scuffed up but apart from that It was amazing Definitely be back
