Breakfast was one of the best hotel breakfasts I have ever had! Good choice of items, well presented and freshly cooked. Liked the fact that you pre ordered the night before and gave a time for breakfast to staff. Kitchen staff were very friendly - open plan kitchen so we were able to see staff hard at work.

The proprietors were incredibly accommodating! From picking us up from Chollerford to packing a lunch for us. We had a delicious meal. The Inn is charming as well. We rate them an 11 out of 10!

Such a cozy place to relax after a day exploring along Hadrian's Wall. Mike and Lorna are fantastic hosts, and The Side has everything you need to be comfortable and enjoy your holiday.
