Kept awake by drunk in hotel no security, Had early flight and got no sleep staff were good but had limited control of drunk guest paid good money for night not good value needs night guard would expect part

I STAYED AT THE HILTON BY HAMPTON. EVEN THOUGH I PAID FOR THIS DISGUSTING HOTEL!!
THE HAMPTON HOTEL OPPOSITE WAS CLEAN, THE STAFF WERE POLITE AND HELPFUL

Very convenient to the airport
I was a little confused as last time we passes through (two years ago) we caught the circular bus at stop H. That has changed. I like Holiday Inns. My great favourite was in Nagasaki but that is a long way away now.

Convenient for Airport + city.
Convenient for Airport + city. Good regular bus service right into the centre of Edinburgh and back. Also can take bus to the Airport if walking isn't an option, but more than doable to walk if able to.

We flew from Gran Canaria to Edinburgh Airport, and then...
We flew from Gran Canaria to Edinburgh Airport, and then took a bus to Glasgow. It was very convenient, we only had to wait for 15min for the bus to arrive and the journey was straightforward and good value for money (you can purchase return trip tickets in the bus directly, which makes life easy).
On our way back, we took the same bus (Glasgow-Edinburgh Airport) and stayed one night at the Double Tree by Hilton. Very good location (a few minute walk from the airport), and if you travel with a lot of luggage it is very convenient thanks to free shuttle and trolleys available at the airport and hotel.

Very warm comfortable rooms and common space.
Family was big enough for the three of us. Nice with coffee, tea etc in the room and the kids enjoyed the milk and cookies delivered to the room.
The hotel is located in lovely grounds with a nice walk. Also quite ok location to walk 15 mins to catch bus into central Edinburgh.
My son loves planes so great to be on the flight path!
The staff at reception and who took us to our room warm and friendly
The breakfast spread is good and I appreciated the plant-based options

We stayed here for one night prior to an early morning flight. The hotel and rooms look slightly dated, however the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable so we slept well. The room had good sound proofing as we didn’t hear much noise from outside despite being on the ground floor. The staff were very friendly. We walked to the airport as it’s only a ten minute walk, however the staff mentioned that do provide a shuttle service as well.

Every time we fly to or from Edinburgh we stay in this hotel, which is less than 10 minutes away from the airport. The rooms are not very big but they are clean and comfortable. The staff is very accomodating and friendly. Breakfast starts at 5.00 o'clock AM and it's good. This is an honest hotel, without fripperies and which offers all the facilities and services the transient traveller needs.

Another great stay, always stay here these days as I usually have early morning flight, can't be bothered going into Edinburgh these days, hotel is excellent, modern rooms, comfy beds, good walkin style shower, good food in restaurant
