Breakfast was delicious with a lovely hot meal cooked to perfection. Our host Christine was over the top lovely and so welcoming. Every question we asked was answered. Christine was so helpful and willing to give us suggestions on our travel route as well as recommendations for a dinner venue.

It’s on the edge of the site in a peaceful part near to the loch which was a pleasant area to walk our dogs. Accommodation is a good size and comfortable. The kitchen is well laid out with everything you could possibly need. It’s near the motorway which was perfect for our two night stop over. Would definitely recommend this property as a good base to explore the area.

A magical place to stay, completely blown away by everything. Perhaps the greatest place myself and my partner have ever stayed. The attention to detail from Joe was immense, the gold and red room was huge, cosy and warm. The open plan bath was the absolute cherry on top. Joe and his wife obviously have a deep passion for service and accommodation, we will be back.

From the moment we got there, we were made to feel very welcome. Very positive energy and environment. Lovely place to stop even for just a night. Had some lovely conversations with the owners, was lovely to get to know their story a little as well:)

we had an overnight stay at the Days Inn on our journey to...

we had an overnight stay at the Days Inn on our journey to Loch Ness and stayed again on our way home. Perfect spot and dog friendly. We should have booked on line to stay on the way home as it cost us more to just drop in.

We like the room (Room 1), as it had a balcony with a view...

We like the room (Room 1), as it had a balcony with a view over the lake as well as having twin beds and a bath. Hotel was an ideal location for us to stop off on our journey home. Was near to Loch Lomond and the Trossochs.

Value for money? better than, helpful staff? excellent. For a hotel in such a busy area with the amount of footfall it receives, it is a very well kept property. It was early March on our visit and to wake up in the morning with a view across the lake it surpassed our expectations. It is easy to recommend the Days Inn at Lockerbie.

Clean Basic Accomodation with little food or entertainment choices in evening - mostly Mc D. A view of the lake rather than the car park would have been nice. Our TV didn't work and we were told that it could not be fixed as an engineer was not available. All in all this hotel is fine if you just need a quiet overnight motorway stop and somewhere to put your head down. Moffat is a lovely town ten minutes up the road and worth a visit. If it hadn't been torrential rain when we arrived we might have ventured out rather than eat processed food and be dissapointed by a constantly stuttering internet based TV.

very nice clean hotel with superb views the only down side...

very nice clean hotel with superb views the only down side was very poor catering supplied by fast food operators the hotel are going to try to amend this by getting their own catering. would recomend days inn's and use again providing catering is nearby.

Wish I was staying longer than we did but it was a pit stop...

Wish I was staying longer than we did but it was a pit stop . We were going further north for are main holiday. I will remember the grate hot bath for a long time and the very good staff. Thank you.

The room was clean and had all the necessary facilities for an overnight stay - bed, bathroom, tea/coffee making facilities, coat hangers! The view of Annandale water was an added bonus and the balcony to sit on was a very pleasant surprise. It's a service station hotel so you have all the benefits of the service station but despite it being very busy you didn't notice it once in your room. If you didn't want the service station facilities both Moffat and Annan are a short drive away.

The hotel was very easy to access, spotlessly clean, the staff were friendly and the bed was very comfortable. Definitely worth paying the small amount extra for a lake view room with a balcony. Stunning view and the perfect way to start my Scottish road trip. Highly recommend! I couldn’t hear any traffic noise.
