Beautiful premises with a lovely view onto Mourne Mountains. Had a lovely walk through garden to Shimna river, if you are able bodied as it was quite steep with some steps. Our room was lovely with great shower room and dressing room attached. The staff were friendly and professional. A very well run family business and very peaceful - a touch of old fashioned charm 😀

House was absolutely amazing.

House was absolutely amazing. With a large group of 10 people and 2 dogs the space inside and outside the house accommodated us well. The views around the property were stunning. The only issue we had was the fridge freezer. The fridge wasnt very cold and it took a full day before the freezer started freezing but then unfortunately it started defosting again the next day. We did send a message to the house keeping but they never replied back.

Cottage was absolutely perfect, so cosy and great attention to detail, the welcome basket and bubbly was a lovely touch and the views from the hot tub were amazing. The cottage was spotless and had everything needed to have a peaceful night away. Already excited for booking again in the upcoming months and would highly recommend. Thank you to John and Grace, you have created a special little getaway. I look forward to returning.

Fantastic location for walking in the Mournes.

Fantastic location for walking in the Mournes. Situated beside Tollymore Forest Park with excellent walking trails. Other good walks including Tullyree Red Kite site and Kilcoo reservoir. Short distance to Castlewellan Forest Park. Self catering and we made all out own meals - this is what it's all about - outside hill walking fresh air.

Beautiful local food, beautiful lovely people, stunning location, plenty to see and do. Beautiful walks. Great beaches, and parks. Lots of history and beautiful lakes. Great for hiking, fishing, swimming, canoeing, relaxing and site seeing. A very happy fun experience had by all.😊
