We had a lovely stay! The bathtub was amazing to soak my muscles at the end of a long days hike. There was a fridge in our room which was perfect to chill our water. The dinner was very tasty as was the breakfast.

Jessie is an amazing host! Warm, attentive, caring and generous. And there are two adorable, well behaved dogs who are excited to host you as well. The house is beautiful, the room is spacious and comfortable. The bed is particularly comfortable. The village is idyllic, picturesque and quiet but near enough to larger places like Haye on Wye. From the house or village there are plenty of beautiful walks through green fields of sheep.

Hello Kington is a nice little town it's got some remarkable little interesting places and shops, and a museum. It's set in beautiful countryside. And it's on Offa's dyke so good for hikers and walkers to stay on their way up or down the path.

It has a reasonable bus service for arrival / departure. Small supermarket to stock up, pubs and a Museum. I used it a base travelling from Hereford by bus / walk to see the Cwmmau Farmhouse, National Trust,as featured in the film Hamnet

Small, characterful town. Lovely shops, has a butcher and greengrocer like the old days! Decent size supermarket. Everything in walking distance. Good parks for dogs with river access. We ate at Ye Old Tavern pub and the food was good as was the pint

Lovely town with interesting, arty shops and a good cafe. Near to many lovely, historic locations such as Pembridge, Presteigne and Rhayader. Enjoyed the salt and pepper chips from the Chinese takeaway.

Kington is wonderful for walking.

Kington is wonderful for walking. We made use of the Kington Walks booklet where 6 walks are very clearly described and easy to follow. There are beautiful walks in every direction and my dog loved every minute.

Our second stay. Staff are always so friendly and professional. Every one of them that we have encountered have been so nice! Chatted to Ben yesterday and he is so helpful and made us feel at home. Can’t remember the lady’s name who served us at breakfast but she was also very lovely. Couldn’t do enough for us! Room comfortable and clean. Great location. Kington is a very quaint and attractive town.

warm friendly environment ,excellent service throughout all areas of hotel staff could not have done more ,food was superb cooked to perfection and accomaded our prefrence , the regulars to the bar(pub) were also very friendly the building it self was quirky but yoy expect that in a 16th century inn (but had moderen facilities)
