Quiet country village with one pub, a beautiful church and a...

Quiet country village with one pub, a beautiful church and a surf shop. Pub was very busy and food good, Quick service and an excellent choice of beers, both traditional and modern. Lacking a little shop for basics and a mile from the nearest very busy beach at Hillend. The better beach is a little further away at Broughton Sands, for a quieter and more relaxed location. There is a regular bus service to Swansea and other nearby resorts which could be good for anyone without a car. The 12th century church is fascinating and well worth an hour of your time. Great for walks, especially the coast path and the two high hills of Llanmadoc and Rhossili Head.

The Kings Head pub served excellent food, easy access to Rhossilli Beach either by car or by walking. It is also quiet. Easy to reach other places on the Gower usually about 30 to 45 mins away maximum.

You need to know Llangennith (particularly the Kinds Head...

You need to know Llangennith (particularly the Kinds Head pub) is inland from the the beach. To access the beach you can go to either Hillend or Broughton Bay. Hillend is entry through a campsite and parking is £6. However, there are good facilities like washrooms and Cafe that can be used by visitors, the Cafe is particularly good.

Very quiet village generally, unless you count the cars and campers vans going down to surf, but was not a problem. Lovely church and a couple of nice walks. Would imagine in high summer would get very busy.

When the weather was warm enough to have breakfast outside...

When the weather was warm enough to have breakfast outside the view was beautiful. Breakfast was lovely. I was there for a week so would have been nice for a cleaner to have come in at some point as it is quite pricey for a single person. Maybe think about a slight reduction for single people as you pay the same for 2 and you're only having 1 breakfast.

Lovely beach, lots going on , such as surfing.

Lovely beach, lots going on , such as surfing. Please be aware to take your rubbish home as there are no bins on or near the beach due to ‘Welsh recycling laws ‘ I don’t have a problem with this and I could see when I visited early in August , people were taking their rubbish off the beach.

A superb stay at a property oozing with character wherever you looked. Loved all the different colours (even the toilet bowl!!!). Lovely time, lovely room, endlessly helpful staff and a smashing breakfast. Location very good for walks to Broughton Burrows, Rhossili Bay and onto Worm's Head. And a short walk to very nice local pub in Llangennith village. Nothing not to like and property (and garden) clearly run with loving care and attention. And a dedicated parking space too! Will definitely return again one day.

Cute B&B in a perfect location for Llangennith and Rhosilli Bay. The host Dafydd was a character - full of stories about his days as a TV producer - but not overbearing, he really added to the experience. The room was lovely, excellent shower in a wet room, and tasty breakfast in a separate breakfast room. Dog friendly which was important for us.

Beautiful location. Lovely building. Very good food. Lovely big room and bathroom which was really cosy and less like a standard hotel room. Fridge in room was very helpful as the weather was hot. Room stayed really cool even though there was no a/c.

Great location, close to both Llangennith Beach and a short drive to Rhossili Bay. The view of the coast from the house is lovely too. Very comfortable and clean, had everything we needed for a cosy long weekend and the house was dog-friendly too!
