BangladeshThey made our trip worth every second, every penny. It was my husband's birthday and they made sure that we have the time of our life. The bathtub was so beautiful. It felt like being a royal person and living like one. The coffee machine was so good. And the staffs were so welcoming and they gave us a warm welcome. I'm really planning to go there again.

Location, freedom from noise, comfortable bed, good shower in bathroom, good breakfast, welcoming and friendly staff. Overall (in spite of comments on decor etc) this place is good value for the money and I'd certainly stay here again

A fabulous small town/village feel with great independent local shops and restaurants as well as some chains. The weather was better than being abroad, which makes a huge difference. The bays around Mumbles are great - recommend Oxwich Bay.

Quiet country village with one pub, a beautiful church and a surf shop. Pub was very busy and food good, Quick service and an excellent choice of beers, both traditional and modern. Lacking a little shop for basics and a mile from the nearest very busy beach at Hillend. The better beach is a little further away at Broughton Sands, for a quieter and more relaxed location. There is a regular bus service to Swansea and other nearby resorts which could be good for anyone without a car. The 12th century church is fascinating and well worth an hour of your time. Great for walks, especially the coast path and the two high hills of Llanmadoc and Rhossili Head.

We enjoyed cycling along the prom, in both directions, and there were plenty of places to enjoy drinks / food with some great views across the harbour / marina. We saw some very modern play areas and everywhere looked clean and tidy. The coastline, a short drive away, is stunning and the beaches are well worth a walk along the coastal path (we did Three Cliffs and Rhossili).

We found a lovely local pub called Penfalld.
We found a lovely local pub called Penfalld. The staff and locals were very friendly. It is a small village but if you stay in the shepherds hut there is no need to go anywhere else! We just enjoyed our time there and popped to the pub a couple of times.

The location is great whether you want to explore the local...
The location is great whether you want to explore the local area on foot, or get a bus or drive to other parts of the Gower Peninsula. The beach is stunning and there are miles of footpaths within easy reach, lots of sites of local interest/history, great pubs for food and drink, and stunning views from every viewpoint.
We loved exploring Port Eynon beach and the nearby headland with the salt house, Culver Hole and Labyrinth. We had a fantastic walk around Rhosili and the Worms Head, just a 15 minute drive away. We enjoyed a trip to Weobley Castle with another walk around that area, and the incredible Oxwich and Three Cliffs Bays are just along the coast, a nice walk or an easy drive.

The accommodation was a disgrace, lovely area lovely golf course, so called hotel on site was worse than faulty towers I booked three nights but I bailed out after two, dirty carpet, tv remote did not work, first night only seating area was the bed no chairs in room, tea,milk no spoon
What really killed it was the person doing the so called cleaning while my missus was in the room thought is was ok to put a towel on the tiles in the bathroom and used his foot to guide the towel around the floor to dry it,i could go on but i won't i will not trust any more reviews from booking .com

From the outside it looked very small but once in it was surprisingly roomy and very modern. The view to the rear was very relaxing. We were going to a wedding party nearby so didn't visit the beaches but having been to the area many many times it's ideally placed for a fab visit.

Not the best beach on Gower for swimming, particularly when the tide is in and you can't see the stones. Very convenient access though, and acres of sand for games when the tide's out! Horton (part of Porteynon) is probably better on both counts, Rhosili more impressive (but a long way down!) -- sometimes fairly decent surfing, though. Mewslade when the tide is right is my favourite, but access is a scramble, although I can still do it (in my 70s). At the Eastern end of Gower, I would vote for Caswell.

Lovely place to stay,short drive to beaches,well stocked shop,bar and restaurant if you want food and drink,very nice food too,we booked a classic caravan for four people,nice van, spotlessly clean,kids enjoyed the swimming pool and the park,only downside there were no outside table or chairs and no dryer for clothes,had to make a make shift line out of rope I had in the car, otherwise lovely place to stay.
