It was lovely to be in a small and friendly hotel. The room was excellent and the staff smiley, helpful and genuinely wanting us to have everything we needed. The room was comfy and quiet, even though next to the road. We only stayed one night, on comour way to the ferry but managed a beautiful walk through Menai Bridge.

We loved our stay here. The room was very spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The room is above a restaurant/pub which we actually enjoyed. It wasn't loud and it was convenient being able to grab a beer or some food. It's a nice little town right on the water. They don't offer private parking, but you don't need it since there is always plenty of parking on the street in front.

The cottage was beautifully finished with everything thing...

The cottage was beautifully finished with everything thing you could possibly need for a stay in North Wales. It was spotleseley clean and comfortable. Parking is available in a small car park by the sports ground, so lack of parking outside the cottage is not an issue. I would recommend this cottage to others.

Llanllechid is a small village about three miles from Bangor...

Llanllechid is a small village about three miles from Bangor and two miles from the main coast road. It has walking routes right from the house. The village has a small shop which stocks all the basics and frozen food.

Deceptive size of house - cosy bedrooms, but two chillout rooms downstairs with very comfy furniture and beds. Excellent kitchen. Lovely sunshine patio out front :) Chosen for ease of access onto hillside/mountains (climbed Carnedd Llewelyn) and for cycle hire in Bethesda (great people).

Good overall, but lack of instructions. Although we coped, instructions for use of washing machine, dishwasher tumble drier, and tv would be useful. Shower base very slippery and a non slip rubber mat should be available.Front gate to property needs attention, hinges dropped and very rusty.Altso pathway to gate and entrance very uneven.

It was very homely and comfortable, we felt relaxed in the downstairs rooms. The double bed wasn’t very comfortable and I didn’t use the drawers for our clothes as they weren’t clean, but it wasn’t a big deal as the rest of the property was clean. I would suggest that the carpet on the bottom step could do with some attention as it was a little loose/slippy. We really enjoyed our stay and the area is fantastic for walking.
