Excellent breakfast—a great way to start the day. It will last you until mid afternoon. The staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly. The most fun was the well-behaved dogs —hi Molly—even the manager had one (Mia). Great parking and a lovely setting. A little dated in decor, but homey.

Our stay at Castle View was a wonderful experience. Dave and Carmen’s recent renovations were top drawer - from a cute and functional mini kitchen to an excellent bathroom. Our shower was perfect with more than ample water pressure and precise temperature control. The room was absolutely immaculate. The bed was big and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, made to order, with both hot and cold offerings. It is apparent that Dave and Carmen knew what they were doing when creating a warm and welcoming B&B. If we return to Morpeth, you will find us at the Castle View.

Worn through fabric on arm chairs. Chipped paint on doors and woodwork. Cracked and unhygienic wash basin in room. Broken sun loungers and spa beds. Floor heating grills broken metal sections - health and safety hazard and our dogs paws could fall through. Continental breakfast choice is very poor and food stations a mess. Stocks of food in very short supply. Not very dog friendly as you have to sit all the way through the lounge on lounge tables and arm chairs to eat. Staff service level poor with lack of staff to cope.

Enjoyed setting of hotel, excellent food both breakfast and evening meals. Visited Bamburgh, Seahouses, The Farne Islands, Warwick, Amble, Alnwick Gardens and Alnmouth. Good for walking in the area.

Longhorsley is a great base for exploring Northumberland, with a Spa hotel and pub offering something a little extra to the small village. Only a short drive from some of the main sightseeing spots, surrounded by beautiful countryside.

Only nice thing was the land and gardens, everything else was a dive. No aircon in room really old bathroom and dirty floor granite. Really needs upgraded. Wish we staying in a Premier Inn instead. We had breakfast included but wasn't great at all we opted to eat out on the second day. Really don't recomend at all.

7 adults stayed here for the weekend. Such a beautiful cottage, with everything you need at hand. The cottage is massive! Plenty of space to socialise, or if you want to, relax on your own. The weather was glorious, so we enjoyed soaking up the sun in the garden. It was so peaceful and the views are stunning! We would definitely recommend staying at Blackpool Farm Cottage.

A great place to relax and get away from everything for a short while. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and comfortable and the grounds were good for gentle walks - we didn't play golf but it's there if you need it!! The main restaurant wasn't open but the food in the on site pub was good.

Great place to stay, and perfect for the dogs with the huge enclosed paddock at the back. I was visiting alongside some friends who were staying at the nearby hotel, so it's perfect or that - was able to go make use of the spa facilities there which was great. The Croft itself is well equipped, lovely open plan accommodation, very comfortable. Great location for exploring Northumberland, I will definitely return.

The property is beautiful - stunning Georgian farmhouse with lots of lovely country styling and touches. Zoe was a great hostess and very attentive- breakfast was really good. Lots of choice. Full of little touched that you wouldn’t find in a big hotel including lovely antique furniture, handmade soaps and delicious homemade biscuits on the tea tray. We will be back!

Another fabulous visit to this lovely hotel. All of the staff were friendly and helpful, particularly during what looked like a very busy breakfast time. We enjoyed using the spa facilities. The room was lovely and such a comfortable bed. A really relaxing few days.
