A real country pub with superb, above avarage restaurant facilities and cooking quality. The restaurant is well visited during the evenings and we can understand why. The surrounding countryside is lovely for an evening walk. Staff could not have been more helpful. Our room was comfortable and bathroom facilities wonderful.

Delicious food and peaceful stay The on-site restaurant is excellent — we had the mixed meat platter for two and it was absolutely fantastic! The hotel is located by the road, but at night there’s very little traffic, and most rooms face the quiet side of the property, so it’s very peaceful. The air is incredibly fresh, and the hosts are extremely polite and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Not a lot to do or see in Longridge town although it is a excellent base to view the magnificent Ribble Valley and Forrest of Bowland or the North West of England in general or Lancashire in particular which is much under estimated

The lodge is immaculately presented, equipped with...

The lodge is immaculately presented, equipped with everything you need for a short break. It is obvious that the owners take great pride in their property and this is reflected in the quality of the little extras they provide, hand lotion, luxury towels, coffee maker , candles etc. It's location is 2 minutes walk from the main reception which houses a fantastic indoor heated pool and a bar which has separate areas for family, Sky etc. It's a perfect place for a short stay. We had our 2 daughters with us (age 8 & 10) who asked when can we go back? We hadn't even left yet !!! All in all, its pretty hard to fault giving the accommodation's cleanliness and location

It was a nice place to stay..plenty of walks around. Went to Beacon fell..lovely walk and wildlife. Visited Clitheroe town / castle. plenty of places we didnt get time to go to. Ate at Derby arms....too far to go else where..but we loved the food at the pub.

Perfect location!

Perfect location! Stunning gardens very peaceful and relaxing, excellent food, friendly staff, comfortable rooms . A lovely pub around the corner and a farm shop and garden centre . We will definitely be back .

Ferrari? . Grounds and most public spaces in hotel were nice (not Ladies toilets). Friendly staff. There are 2 supermarkets within a mile from the hotel. Our (Exececutive) room was not Ferrari status. Our room didn't have tea/coffee maker, as advertised. It had old-fashioned furniture covered with black tablecloths and a stool with peeling fabric on it. The jacuzzi bath only worked on one setting. The 'flat-screen TV' was as small as a laptop screen. A 30-piece brass band was practising in an events room below our room from 8-10pm on one night and 8-9pm on another night. We'd gone away for a peaceful getaway. We certainly didn't get that.

We arrived late but the receoptioniost had telephoned to enquire if we were on our way and that our plans were unchanged. Friendly receptionist advice us of the room location - single flight of wide stairs, and offered a brief history of the house. Exceptionally spacious room (suite) with interesting, but slightly overpowering French furniture. Comfortable bed, lovely views from the bedroom. Good supply of hot water in the shower (source of soap in the shower would be an advantage as the self-service bottles are on the bathroom window sill. Unfortunately did not have enough time to sit or explore the lounge / bar area, not the gardens. Vegetarian breakfast option was welcome. All staff friendly.

We really enjoyed our overnight stay at the hotel, This has been beautifully renovated and we were lucky enough to get a room overlooking the gardens. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We had a meal in the restaurant Sunday evening and the food was amazing, as was the breakfast. We ended our stay with a coffee in the gardens with only the sound of the birds before sadly having to leave, but without a doubt we will be returning soon, So thanks to all involved in creating such a relaxing haven !!

Beautiful van - myself and two friends stayed for a 60th birthday weekend. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. A few little treats were left for us which was a really nice touch. The check in was easy and all directions and instructions simple to follow. Longridge is walkable and the town is full of lovely shops and places to eat - thriving.

It's only a camping place with mobile homes, but our part was nicer and very comfortable. Perfect patrons welcoming the guests personally. A good place to start any trip to the Longridge i.e. the Tolkien Trail. A nice park opposite and beautiful views.
