Excellent breakfast—a great way to start the day. It will last you until mid afternoon. The staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly. The most fun was the well-behaved dogs —hi Molly—even the manager had one (Mia). Great parking and a lovely setting. A little dated in decor, but homey.

Fabulous English countryside, great local pubs, short...

Fabulous English countryside, great local pubs, short distance to Morpeth where supermarkets are to be found. Large open fields with great low stone walls, magnificent properties, busy farmers and glorious sunsets. Easy access to an array of National trust houses and halls to visit. Sunsets and views to die for x loved it.

A wonderful place for a couple to enjoy.

A wonderful place for a couple to enjoy. Fantastic views and a lovely garden to sit and enjoy them. Many of the local roads are narrow, twisty and you need to drive with care, but this added to the pleasure of staying in a beautiful, peaceful rural area. The hosts were friendly, helpful and interesting to chat to, but did not impinge on our privacy. The accommodation was very comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The luxurious bedlinen was a treat. It goes without saying that everything was spotless. The Old Post Office was the perfect place for exploring Hadrian's Wall, National Trust Houses and just enjoying the wonderful landscape.
