The room was extremely comfortable , well presented ,with everything we needed. Lovely and warm on the coldest of nights. Nice bar and restaurant areas with a good dinner menu and an excellent breakfast . Great staff.

To be honest what's not to like in such a wonderful place.

To be honest what's not to like in such a wonderful place. The local pub The Hare and Hounds was welcoming with good food AND beer. Locals were very friendly and our accommodation beyond expectations. Fantastic.

We had never been before but a really beautiful place

We had never been before but a really beautiful place with lovely walks very peaceful and some lovely nearby Places to visit that were just a short drive away,it hosts an amazing pub as well which serves outstanding food and drinks reservations is recommended as it’s very popular.

Lothersdale is a bit of a hidden gem.

Lothersdale is a bit of a hidden gem. It's close to home - but we'd never heard of it before. It has a great pub - great service - really friendly - and great food too. The Shepherd's hut that we stayed in was fabulous. Everything we needed within walking distance - we arrived on foot.

The cottage is in a private and quiet location which was...

The cottage is in a private and quiet location which was perfect for my needs. It is clean, comfortable and fully loaded with everything I need to self cater. I can park my car safely in the private parking space. Jonathan gave us lots of information about the area and the history of the mill and let us to see the mill inside.
