Everything from start to finish. Dave and Sarah are brilliant hosts and you instantly feel at home. Breakfast was exceptional, and the homemade granola is brilliant. The room has everything you need, the view is amazing (picture attached) and the bed is very comfortable. The walk is great to either village, (it looks longer than it is to Mevagissey but it is quite easy) If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Mevagissey then you have found it!

Good selection of places to eat and drink but you have to keep an eye out for traffic through the very narrow streets. Quaint old fishing town full of character. Polkirt Hill is very steep and narrow and has two way traffic to contend with.

Absolutely stunning fishing village with twin harbour.

Absolutely stunning fishing village with twin harbour. Sharksfin restaurant recommended. Go in the morning/early afternoonif you want to go out in a boat trip as we left it too late in the day. Fabulous shops just wish they would make it pedestrians only. Beautiful time there. Loved it Watch out for the traditional Cornish Mevagissey Ladies and Mens Singers in st Andrews church.

Mevagissey is nice little town with very few shops but lacking in restaurants for evening and cafes during daytime. Nice to walk around harbour and along harbour walls. Steep climb up to hotel but beautiful sunsets and views down to harbour

It is a small pretty harbour, and still a working harbour.

It is a small pretty harbour, and still a working harbour. Much more authentic than the more popular harbour towns on the north coast. Nice little independent shops and good pubs and cafes for fresh fish at reasonable prices. Worst part is the traffic going through the village.

Mevagissey - Stunning coastal views, beautiful beaches, fresh local food, and the best ice cream. Heads up for drivers: The lanes are steep, narrow and have blind corners. We found some local drivers impatient — they’d sit right behind you until you had no choice but to reverse, which made it a really stressful experience.

Mevagissey is a real working harbor with fishing fleets and a unique culture and history. We enjoyed the seafood, walks around the town, the shopping and the overall atmosphere. From Mevagissey, you can take a ferry to Fowey, visit gardens, or travel south to the Roseland Peninsula and over to Falmouth, among many other things of interest. There is also a good beach.

Absolutely loved our stay here. On the harbour in beautiful Mevagissey. Was so peaceful watching out of the window overlooking the harbour. One of our favourite spots on the whole of our travelling about holiday, so we will be returning. Plenty of places to eat and nice local pubs and walks and a little boat ride to see the seals. Two seconds away is a seal who likes to sleep in the harbour. Was lucky to see it. Parking about ten mins walk away but not an issue.

5 min walk to Mevagissey town centre. 2 BR cottage over 3 levels with off street parking was great. Nicely decorated and very comfortable. Great having 2 bathrooms and an outdoor area. Extremely helpful local staff when there was a problem which was sorted very quickly.

Great location with wonderful views. Clean, new and nicely furnished. Excellent lounge/bar area and breakfast room. Nice owners on site. A short walk to the town in one direction and down to the beach and The Rising Sun Hotel in the other. So all was really good.
