Well what a difference we have stayed at the kings head several times and I must say it was a bit run down ( cheap and cheerful comes to mind) but now after a full refurbished it is now an excellent place to stay only downside is the rooms are on the small side which with an old building cannot be changed + great location and as always the staff are very helpful and welcoming

Grand staff and excellent service. I am very delightful with their exceptional service. Very flexible and supportive. I had my freedom there and did not experience any single difficulties. Very friendly environment even for non-English community. Beautiful, clean, peaceful and calm environment. Food is very tasty and great presentation too. Chef deserves 10/10. Lovely unique experience. Host could not have been more welcoming. plenty of space, lovely animals on site and the river nearby for kayaking and paddle boarding was beautiful and so much fun. We would definitely come back.
